Dans un assemblage d'un générateur de vapeur (10) et d'un logement en plastique (20), le générateur de vapeur (10) est placé à l'intérieur du logement (20) et comprend les éléments suivants: une enceinte (11) pour contenir l'eau et la vapeur; un élément chauffant (14) pour chauffer l'enceinte (11) du générateur de vapeur et son contenu et une plaque chauffante (12) placée entre l'élément chauffant (14) et l'enceinte (11) du générateur de vapeur de façon à améliorer le transfert de chaleur entre l'élément chauffant (14) et l'enceinte (11). Afin d'empêcher que la totalité de la plaque chauffante (12) et de l'élément chauffant (14) ne tombe au fond (21) du logement (5) en cas de défaillance du raccordement entre la plaque chauffante (12) et l'enceinte (11), des supports de fixation (30) destinés à supporter la plaque chauffante (2) sont disposés au fond (21) du logement (5) et sont formés dans un matériau résistant aux températures élevées.
