Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif d'imprégnation d'un matériau fibreux au moyen d'un agent d'imprégnation contenant au moins un additif en tant que solution ou émulsion. Lors de l'imprégnation du matériau fibreux, le matériau fibreux à imprégner est dissout à l'aide d'un dispositif de dissolution (1) ; le matériau fibreux est introduit en quantités dosées par l'intermédiaire d'un dispositif de dosage (2) par l'intermédiaire d'une entrée (3) dans une chambre de travail (6) d'un système de mélange continu (4) ; le matériau fibreux est transporté dans la chambre de travail (6) du système de mélange continu (4) à l'aide d'un dispositif de transport/mélange (10), le long de têtes de mélange (13), au moins partiellement autour des têtes de mélanges (13), et de l'entrée (3) vers une sortie (12) par l'intermédiaire d'une voie de transport (11) ; le matériau fibreux est aéré localement par l'intermédiaire des têtes de mélange (13) et traité par l'intermédiaire de l'agent d'imprégnation par introduction de celui-ci dans le matériau fibreux par l'intermédiaire d'une ou plusieurs buses (15), de manière à répartir de façon essentiellement homogène l'agent d'imprégnation sur les fibres ; et, le matériau fibreux ainsi traité est expulsé de la chambre de travail (6) par l'intermédiaire de la sortie (12).
