Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein entsprechendes Verfahren zum Behandeln von Flächen (F) von metallischen Bauelementen (M), insbesondere zum Behandeln der Laufbahnen der Zylinderöffnungen (Z) von Verbrennungsmotorblöcken (M), mittels eines Laserstrahls (L), mit einer Umlenkoptik (14) zum Umlenken des Laserstrahls aus einer in Längsrichtung der zu bearbeitenden Fläche gerichteten Richtung in eine von dieser abweichenden, zu der zu bearbeitenden Fläche gerichteten Richtung. Bei einer solchen Vorrichtung bzw. einem entsprechenden Verfahren lässt sich mit einfachen Mitteln die Gefahr einer vorzeitigen Verschmutzung der Linse dadurch minimieren, dass vor der Umlenkoptik eine lichtdurchlässige Umlenkeinheit (13, 113) mit planparallel zueinander und schräg zur Richtung, mit der der Laserstrahl auf die Umlenkeinheit trifft, angeordneten Durchtrittsflächen für den Laserstrahl positioniert ist.
