Abstract
家庭で簡単に、目的とする前腕の筋肉を個別に鍛え、リハビリすることのできる水中トレーニング・リハビリ器を提供する。本発明に係る水中トレーニング・リハビリ器は、手で持って水中で動かすことにより、主として前腕の所望の筋肉を増強するための水中トレーニング器10であって、略平面状の面積が可変の抵抗部14と、種類の異なる複数のハンドル13を備えることを特徴とする。なお、本発明において、種類の異なる複数のハンドル13は(d)のように抵抗部14に常に固定されていてもよいし、取付・取外し構造により適宜付け替え可能となっていてもよい。

発明が解決しょうとする課題

[0006] 本発明は、老若男女を問わずそれぞれの力のレベルに応じて家庭で簡単に無理 なぐ特に、各種スポーツにおいて共通に使用される重要な筋肉である前腕の各筋 肉を個別に鍛え、また、下半身の筋肉を総合的に鍛えることのできるトレーニング'リ ハビリ器を提供するものである。なお、本発明は、スポーツ障害により或いは加齢等 によりそれら筋肉の能力が低下した場合に、それを元に戻すためのリハビリにも有効 に使用することができる。
課題を解決するための手段
[0007] 上記課題を解決するために成された本発明は、手で持って水中で動かすことにより 、主として前腕の所望の筋肉を鍛えるための水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器であって、 面積が可変である略平面状の抵抗部と、種類の異なる複数のハンドルを備えることを 特徴とする。

発明の効果
[0011] 本発明に係る水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器は平面状の抵抗部を有し、これを水中で 水の抵抗に抗して動かすことにより、筋肉を鍛え、リハビリするためのトレーニングを 行うことができる。本発明の水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器ではこの抵抗部の面積が可 変であるため、水中で動かす際の負荷を変えることができ、これによりステップアップ トレーニング等のプログラムトレーニングを行うことが可能となる。また、筋力の低下し た老人や何らかの事情 (例えば、脳梗塞、骨折等)で静養'療養中の人など、従来、 十分なトレーニングやリハビリのできな力つた人でも、各自のレベルに応じた負荷を設 定し、家庭内で入浴毎に安全にトレーニング Zリハビリを行うことができる。これにより
、運動を諦めていたそれらの人々にしばしば見られた廃用性萎縮 (使わない筋肉が 退ィ匕したり、動力さない関節が更に動力なくなること)を効果的に防止することができ るよつになる。

[0020] 図 2(b)のバンド形式のハンドル 22は、ボール等を投げる動作を行うスポーツで主に 使用する尺側手根屈筋や長手掌筋を鍛えるのに適している。例えば、野球、バレー ボール (スパイク)、バスケットボール(シュート)、ラグビー、水泳、サーフィン(パドリン グ)、ボウリング等である。
[0021] 図 2(c)のグリップ形式のハンドル 23は、棒状のものや把手を横に握って、巻き込み 、捻り、打ち込み、或いは引き寄せるという動作を行うスポーツで主に使用する浅指 屈筋や長手掌筋を鍛えるのに適している。例えば、柔道、空手、ボクシング、ウィンド サーフィン、乗馬、アメリカンフットボール、腕相撲、レスリング等である。
[0022] また、図 2(d)のグローブ形式のハンドル 24は、掌の向きにより微妙なコントロールを 必要とする動作を伴うスポーツのトレーニングに適しており、このハンドル 24では、意 識して水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器 10の動きを微妙にコントロールすることにより、 目 的に応じた筋肉を自在に鍛えることができる。
[0023] これらのハンドル 13、 22〜24は、水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器 10を使用するたび に目的に応じた形式のものを取り付けてもよいし、図 1(d)に示すように 2種類 (又はそ れ以上)のハンドルを同時に抵抗部 14に取り付けておいて、必要に応じてどれかを 握ると 、う使 、方をしてもょ 、。
[0024] 図 3に示すように、バンド形式 25、スティック形式 26及びグリップ形式 27の 3種のハ ンドルを同時に取り付けることもできる。この例では、バンド形式 25のハンドルを使用 する際は、中指を挿入するための中指バンド 25bも同時に使用する。また、グリップハ ンドル 27を使用する際は、スティックハンドル 26が邪魔にならないように折り畳んで おくことができる。
[0025] 抵抗部のその他の各種例を図 4に示す。図 4(a)はカメラのシャッターの絞りのような 動きをする複数のブレード 32aにより開口部の大きさを変化させることのできる抵抗板
32を、枠 33の中に複数配置したものである(31)。(b)は 3行 3列に設けた正方形の穴 42に抵抗板 43を差し込むことにより全体としての抵抗を調節するものである(41)。こ の抵抗板 41では図 5に示すように、抵抗の分布に多くのノリエーシヨンを作ることが できる。図 5(a)は手首側の屈筋と伸筋を主に鍛えることができる。(b)は右側に主に抵 抗がかかるため、上腕橈骨筋を主に鍛えることができる。(c)は逆に左側に主に抵抗 がかかるため、長手掌筋を鍛えることができる。(d)は中央に抵抗力かかるため、長手 掌筋、橈側手根屈筋及び上腕橈骨筋を同時に鍛えることができる。(e)は肘側の長手 掌筋と橈側手根筋を主に鍛えることができる。(Dは全面に抵抗板 43を入れたもので、 前腕の筋肉全体を鍛えることができる。
[0026] 図 4に戻り、(c)は指のような抵抗板 52を基板 53側に出し入れすることにより抵抗を 変えるもので、主に前腕の左右の尺側手根屈筋を任意に鍛えることができる(51)。 抵抗板 52は、クリックストップ (節動)により、段階的に基板 53から出し入れできるよう になっている。(d)は抵抗板 62を左右に開くようにしたもので、これも前腕の左右の上 腕橈骨筋、尺側手根屈筋を任意に鍛えることができる(61)。これも、クリックストップ( 節動)により開度を調節できるようにしておくことが望ましい。(e)は窓 67の中に、間に 布 68を張った 2本のスティック 69を填め込んだもので、布 68を一方のスティック 69に 巻き付け、又はスティック 69から巻き出することにより、抵抗部の面積を変えることが できる(66)。なお、同図の表面図及び裏面図に示されるように、布 68を張った 2本ス ティック 69は表面では左右方向に、裏面では上下方向に取り付け、それぞれ面積を 調節することができる。
[0027] 以上示した各実施例の水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器は、そのハンドルに応じた態様 で手に持ち、水中で面に垂直に動かして使用する。この動作を多数回繰り返すこと により、その抵抗の態様に応じて上記の各種筋肉が鍛えられる。
[0028] このような水中トレーニング又はリハビリは、家庭内において、図 7に示すように風呂 の中で容易に行うことができる。従って、継続的に行うことが可能となり、大きなトレー ユング及びリハビリ効果が得られる。例えば具体的には、 15回から 20回ぐらいの動 作を 1セットとし、それを 3セットから 4セット行う。セット間の休憩時間(インターバル)は 1分から 2分の間が適当である。
[0029] 本発明の基本的な考え方は、下半身全体のトレーニング又はリハビリにも応用する ことができる。図 7は、腰に上記同様の面積可変の抵抗部 71を取り付けて水中で歩 行訓練を行っている状態を示す。この抵抗部 71の面積を上記同様に可変とすること により、各種段階のトレーニングやリハビリを短時間に、より効果的に行うことができる ようになる。抵抗部 71の面積を変える方法の一例を図 7(b)に示す。これは、円形の枠 72の中に、各種径の穴 73を有する抵抗板 74 (図 7 (b)、(c))を固定する形式のもの である。抵抗板 74には、ゴム板、プラスチック板の他、ヨットのセィル生地等も用いる ことができる。抵抗部 71としてはこの他に、上記の前腕鍛鍊用水中トレーニング'リハ ピリ器において説明したものもそのまま用いることができる。
[0030] 水中歩行トレーニング 'リハビリ器の面積可変抵抗部の別の例 76を図 8に示す。
[0031] この水中歩行トレーニング 'リハビリ器の抵抗部には、浮力調整機構を設けることが できる。図 9はそのような機構を設けた抵抗部 77の例を示すものであり、上部には発 泡スチロールや空気を入れて浮力を増すための空間として形成された浮上部 78が、 周囲にはバラストを入れて重さを増すための空間である沈下部 79が設けられている 。沈下部 79には、水(プールの水を用いるのが便利である)を入れるための注入口 8 0が設けられている。このように、上に浮上部 78、下に沈下部 79が配置されているこ とにより、この抵抗部 77は常に安定して垂直に立つことができる。また、沈下部 79に 入れる水の量を調節することにより、抵抗部 77の水中での深さを自由に調節すること ができる。このように抵抗部 77の水中での深さを調節することにより、下半身の任意 の部分のトレーニング又はリハビリの効果を挙げることができるようになる。
Claims
[1] 手で持って水中で動かすことにより、主として前腕の所望の筋肉を鍛え又はリハビリ をするための水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器であって、面積が可変である略平面状の抵 抗部と、種類の異なる複数のハンドルを備えることを特徴とする水中トレーニング'リ ハビリ器。
[2] 抵抗部の面積力 1つのハンドルに関して左右に非対称に可変であることを特徴と する請求項 1に記載の水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器。
[3] 前記複数のハンドル力 棒状のハンドル、グリップ状のハンドル及び掌を挿入するこ とにより固定するハンドルのうちいずれ力 2以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項 1又は
2に記載の水中トレーニング 'リハビリ器。
[4] 水中で歩行することにより訓練を行うための水中歩行トレーニング 'リハビリ器であつ て、面積が可変である略平面状の抵抗部と、該抵抗部を訓練者に連結するための連 結線とを備えることを特徴とする水中歩行トレーニング 'リハビリ器。
[5] 抵抗部が浮力調整手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項 4に記載の水中歩行トレー ニング 'リハビリ器。
