  • This invention relates to blocks for use in permeable pavements and to a pavement comprising a plurality of such blocks.
  • a block suitable for use in permeable pavements having top, bottom and side faces, at least one side face including a flat part, a recessed part and a projecting part, wherein the recessed part is recessed inwards from the flat part of the side face by a distance (d) , the projecting part projects outwards from the flat part of the side face by a distance (D) which is greater than the distance (d) , the projecting part has a curved face curved about an axis transverse to the plane of the top of the block, and the recessed part has a curved face curved about an axis transverse to the plane of the top of the block and matching the curvature of the projecting part.
