Abstract

 軽量かつ安価で、成形性および環状コアの耐食性に優れたビードコードを得ることである。  環状コア1の材質を、中炭素鋼またはC含有量を低く抑えて特定元素を適量添加した合金鋼とし、環状コア1の直径dCが、側線ワイヤ2の直径dSに対して、1.04≦dC/dS≦1.30の式を満足するようにするとともに、側線ワイヤ2として、コイル径が環状コア1のコイル径の0.5~1.3倍のものを使用することにより、軽量かつ安価で、成形性の良いビードコードが得られるようにした。また、環状コア1の鋼線表面にAl-Zn合金めっきまたはZnの厚いめっき層4を形成するか、あるいは環状コア1の材質としてステンレス鋼を用いることにより、環状コア1の耐食性を向上させた。
