However, when a current limiting device having a characteristic shown in FIG. 5 is connected in series to the relay resistor, the leakage current is limited to 10 mA or less during normal operation, and the ground fault current of 10A flows at the time of occurrence of a ground fault. It is also possible to lower the resistance value and the rated load of the relay resistor.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil à relais de protection contre des courts-circuits à la masse pour chemins de fer électriques. Dans l'appareil à relais de protection contre des courts-circuits à la masse, le bus négatif d'un redresseur est mis à la masse au moyen d'une résistance et d'un dispositif limitateur de courant afin de détecter un courant de court-circuit à la masse et de mettre en fonctionnement l'appareil à relais de protection contre des courts-circuits à la masse dans un système d'alimentation en puissance de traction en CC non mis à la masse. Le dispositif limitateur de courant a une caractéristique de résistance élevée en fonctionnement normal de façon à limiter le courant de fuite à une valeur égale ou inférieure à une valeur de référence, alors que le courant limitateur de courant présente une caractéristique de résistance réduite en présence d'un courant de court-circuit, de façon à permettre à un courant de court-circuit à la masse d'une intensité suffisante pour permettre de détecter un court-circuit à la masse de couler.
