Abstract

Le transport et le stockage des assemblages de combustible nucléaire peuvent nécessiter un double confinement selon les circonstances. Un dispositif et un procédé sont décrits qui permettent d’effectuer ce double conditionnement sans avoir recours à un enceinte chaude, et où les étapes de chargement et pré-positionnement peuvent se dérouler en piscine. Le dispositif (0) comprend un récipient métallique étanche interne de conditionnement (20) et un récipient étanche externe (30). Lorsque le récipient interne (20) est situé dans le récipient externe (30), un passage (5, 25) reste libre entre les deux récipients de l’extrémité ouverte jusqu’au fond du récipient externe. Grâce à ce passage, le drainage du récipient externe (30) peut être effectué, notamment par un tube plongeur (33).
