Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pumpe (1), wie Vakuumpumpe oder Verdichter, mit mindestens einem sich auf einer Kreisbahn bewegenden Pumpkolben (2, 3) und einem Pumpgehäuse (18). Zur Ausbildung einer neuartigen Pumpe dieser Art schlägt die Erfindung vor, dass der Pumpkolben (2, 3), ggf. starr gekoppelt mit einem oder mehreren weiteren Pumpkolben (2, 3), sich um eine Drehachse (5) oszillierend auf einer entsprechend zwei Umkehrstellungen aufweisenden Bewegungsbahn bewegt, wobei weiter über ein Auslassventil (8), ggf. Komprimiertes oder unter Druck stehendes, Medium ausgetragen wird und im Zuge einer Bewegung aus der einen Umkehrstellung in die andere Umkehrstellung ein Einlassventil (9) geöffnet wird, wonach auf einer dann jeweils gegebenen Druckseite des Pumpkolbens (2, 3) im Zuge eines Druckaufbaus ein Austrag und auf einer Saugseite des Pumpkolbens (2,3) eine Ansaugung des Mediums erfolgt.
