Abstract

Les systèmes d'injection « Common Rail » modernes, notamment les systèmes aux rapides vitesses d'injection, posent un problème, à savoir l'apparition de dispersions indésirables pour la quantité de carburant à injecter. Cela est essentiellement dû au fait que l'on ne sache pas toujours exactement à quel moment le pointeau de soupape (3) repose sur son siège (37) ou quant la partie supérieure du pointeau de soupape (3) vient frapper la deuxième butée. Selon l'invention, on utilise pour l'injecteur (13) d'un système d'injection un dispositif de contact qui permette de contrôler le contact du pointeau (3) avec son siège (37) ou sa deuxième butée située sur une première partie de carter (1). Le contact électrique (31;45) et l'alimentation en courant (ligne électrique 34) se trouvent donc en dehors de la zone haute pression de l'injecteur (13), zone remplie de carburant, ce qui permet d'éviter tout problème d'étanchéité de l'injecteur (13).
