Definitions

  • the invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning tubular elements.
  • the invention is usefully applied for cleaning and decontaminating rigid or flexible pipes which are part of machines or plants mainly used in the pharmaceutical, chemical and/or food industries which, at the end of a production spell have to be decontaminated (therefore carefully washed, dried and in some cases sterilised or at least left in a very hygienic state).
  • Prevalently modern plants and machines are provided with systems for cleaning in place, which enable cleaning to be done without having necessarily to dismantle the plants or machinery.
