明 細 書
冷蔵庫 技術分野
この発明は、 冷凍サイクルに可燃性冷媒を用いた冷蔵庫に関する。
背景技術
近年、オゾン層の保護、地球温暖化問題に対する関心が世界的に高まっており、 冷蔵庫やエアコン等の冷凍サイクルに使用される冷媒が見直されている。例えば、 現在、 市販されている冷蔵庫の大多数はオゾン層を破壊しない H F C (ハイ ド口 フルォカーボン) を冷媒として使用している。 ところが、 H F C冷媒は地球温暖 化係数が自然冷媒に比べて高い。 このため、 オゾン層を破壊せず、 且つ、 地球温 暖化係数が低い H C (ハイド口カーボン) を冷媒として使用することが望まれ、 そのような冷蔵庫が製品化されている。 しかし、 H C冷媒は可燃性を有している ため、 冷媒が漏れたときの安全性の確保が課題となっている。
そこで、 本出願人は、 冷媒の漏洩を検出する手段を備え、 冷媒の漏涣を検出し たときに、 その旨を報知すると共に運転を停止するように構成された冷蔵庫を先 に出願している (日本国特許出願第 2 0 0 1 - 3 3 6 6 0 2号等)。前記特許出願 は、 圧縮機の負荷、 例えば圧縮機モータのデューティ値の変化率に基づいて冷媒 の漏洩を検出している。
ところが、 圧縮機にかかる負荷は、 冷却が正常に行われているときでも扉の開 閉動作や比較的温度の高い食品の庫内への投入によって、 または、 冷媒の流れが 不安定になったときなどに、 大きく変動する場合がある。
例えば、 図 8は、 冷蔵用蒸発器 (以下、 R蒸発器) と冷凍用蒸発器 (以下、 F 蒸発器) を備え、 これらの蒸発器に交互に冷媒を流して庫内を冷却する冷蔵庫に おける圧縮機モータのデューティ値の変化を示している。 図 8中、 「R冷却」は、 R蒸発器に冷媒を供給して冷蔵室または野菜室を冷却す る運転モードを示している。 「F冷却」は、 F蒸発器に冷媒を供給して冷凍室など を冷却する運転モードを示している。 「停止」 は、 庫内が冷却停止温度に達した場 合などに圧縮機等の運転を停止した状態を示している。 また、 「開扉中」 とは、 冷 蔵室の扉を開放した状態を示している。
図 8に示すように、 F冷却モードから R冷却モードに、 或いは、 R冷却モ一ド から F冷却モードに切り替えた直後は、 各室および蒸発器の温度が比較的高いた め圧縮機に負荷がかかり、 圧縮機モー夕のデューティ値は急激に上昇する。 その 後、 庫内及び蒸発器の温度が低下して安定すると、 圧縮機にかかる負荷も減少し てデューティ値が低下し、 安定する。
一方、 冷却運転中に扉が開放されると、 庫内の冷気が外部へ漏れる。 そこで、 開扉中は蒸発機の近傍に配置されている冷気循環用のファンが停止される。 この ため、 蒸発器の熱交換が抑制され、 圧縮機にかかる負荷が一時的に減少してデュ —ティ値が低下する。
従って、 圧縮機モータのデューティ値の全ての変動に基づき一律に冷媒漏れの 発生を判断すると、 実際には冷媒漏れが発生していないのにも関わらず冷蔵庫の 運転を不必要に停止させてしまうことになる。 但し、 可燃性冷媒を採用する冷蔵 庫では、 冷媒漏れの検知の遅れは火災の発生につながる恐れがあり、 検出時期は 早いほうが望ましい。
本発明の目的は、 可燃性冷媒を冷凍サイクルに使用した冷蔵庫において、 冷凍 サイクルから冷媒が漏れるか否かをできるだけ早く検出することができる冷蔵庫 を提供することにある。 発明の開示
本発明は、 可燃性冷媒を封入してなる冷凍サイクルを備えた冷蔵庫において、 前記冷凍サイクルに冷媒が漏れるような損傷が発生したことが検出された場合に, 冷媒が漏れたときに起こり得る危険性を回避するための処理を行うように構成し たものである。 即ち、 冷凍サイクルの低圧側で冷媒が漏れるような損傷が発生す ると、 損傷発生部位から冷凍サイクル内に外気が進入した後、 徐々に冷凍サイク ル内の冷媒が漏出する。 従って、 冷凍サイクルの低圧側から前記冷媒が漏れたこ と又は前記冷媒が漏れる前兆が検出されたときは、 冷却運転を継続して実行する と共に冷蔵庫本体に設けられた高電圧電気部品を一時的に停止させるように構成 している。
また、 冷凍サイクルの高圧側で冷媒が漏れるような損傷が発生すると、 損傷発 生部位から冷凍サイクル内の冷媒が急速に漏出する。 従って、 冷凍サイクルの高 圧側から冷媒が漏れたこと又は前記冷媒が漏れる前兆が検出されたときは、 前記 冷凍サイクルを構成する圧縮機の運転を停止して前記圧縮機の放熱ファンを所定 時間回転させた後、 前記圧縮機の運転を再開させるように構成している。
このような構成により、 冷凍サイクルから冷媒が漏れたこと、 又は冷媒が漏れ る前兆を早い時期に検出することが可能となり、 安全性の向上を図ることができ る。 また、 検出時期を早くすると、 冷凍サイクルの冷媒が実際に漏れたか否かが 不確かな状態で損傷の発生の有無を判断することになり、 その分、 誤検出する可 能性が高くなる。 しかし、 本発明では、 安全性を確保できる範囲で冷却運転を継 続させるように構成したため、 冷媒が漏れるような損傷が発生していなかったと きでも冷蔵庫内の食品が受ける悪影響を極力小さくすることができる。
冷凍サイクルから冷媒が漏れるような損傷が発生すると、 その損傷発生部位か ら空気が進入したり冷媒が漏れ出たりすることにより圧縮機の負荷が大きく変化 する。 そして、 冷凍サイクルの圧縮機の駆動源がパルス幅変調によってインバー 夕制御されるモー夕から構成されている場合、 前記圧縮機の負荷が変動すること に伴い前記モータのデューティ値が変動する。 従って、 前記モータのデューティ 値に基づき、 冷凍サイクルから冷媒が漏れていること或いは冷媒が漏れる前兆を 検出することができる。 図面の簡単な説明 図 1は本発明の一実施例を示すものであり、 冷凍サイクルで冷媒漏れが発生し たこと又は冷媒漏れの前兆を検出するための制御装置の制御内容を示すフローチ ヤートの一部を示す図、

本発明をより詳細に説述するために、 添付の図面に従ってこれを説明する。 図 1ないし図 7は本発明の一実施例を示している。 本実施例に係る冷蔵庫の全 体構成を示す図 3において、 断熱箱体からなる冷蔵庫本体 1内には、 貯蔵室とし ての冷蔵室 2、 野菜室 3、 切替室 4、 冷凍室 5が上から順に設けられている。 ま た、 図示しないが、 前記切替室 4の隣には、 自動製氷装置を備えた製氷室が横に 並ぶように配設されている。
冷蔵室 2、 野菜室 3との間は、 プラスチック製の仕切板 1 0により仕切られて いる。 野菜室 3と切替室 4及び製氷室との間は断熱仕切壁 1 1により仕切られて いる。 また、 切替室 4及ぴ製氷室との間は図示しない断熱仕切壁によって仕切ら れている。 これにより、 野菜室 3、 切替室 4、 製氷室を流れる冷気は相互に独立 する。
冷蔵室 2の前面には、 断熱性を有するヒンジ開閉式の扉 6が設けられている。 野菜室 3、切替室 4、冷凍室 5の前面には、 断熱性を有する引出し式の扉 7 , 8 , 9がそれぞれ設けられている。
冷蔵室 2内の底部の奥部には、 高電圧により光触媒を活性化させて庫内空気を 脱臭する脱臭装置 2 3が配設されている。冷蔵室 2内の上部、切替室 4内の上部、 冷凍室 5内の上部には、 それぞれ扉 6, 8 , 9の開閉動作を検知するドアスイツ チ 5 7が設けられている。 更に、 冷蔵室 2内の上部には庫内灯 1 7が設けられて いる。
前記扉 6の前面には操作パネル 6 0が設けられている。前記操作パネル 6 0は、 異常が発生した旨を音声にて報知する音声部 6 1、 冷蔵庫の運転状態や温度を表 示する表示部 6 2、 庫内温度を調節したり運転モードや前記表示部 6 2の表示を 切り替えたりするための操作部 6 3 (いずれも図 5にのみ示す) を備えている。 前記冷蔵庫本体 1の上部には電動開扉装置 2 5が設けられている。 図示しない が、 前記開扉装置 2 5は、 通電されたときに前記扉 6を開放させる方向にプラン ジャを移動させる電磁ソレノィドと、 前記プランジャと一体に移動して前記扉 6 を押圧するプッシュロッドとを備えている。 前記開扉装置 2 5は、 操作部 6 3や 扉 6に設けられたスィッチを操作することにより駆動され、 前記扉 6を開放する ようになつている。
冷蔵庫本体 1内のうち冷蔵室 2の後部にはダクト 1 2が設けられている。また、 冷蔵庫本体 1内のうち野菜室 3の後部には冷蔵用蒸発器室 (以下、 R蒸発器室) 1 0 0が設けられている。 R蒸発器室 1 0 0内には、 冷蔵用冷気循環ファン (以 下、 Rファン) 1 3、冷蔵室 2及び野菜室 3の冷却器を構成する冷蔵用蒸発器(以 下、 R蒸発器) 1 4などが配設されている。 Rファン 1 3が駆動されると、 R蒸 発器 1 4により冷却された冷気は、 ダクト 1 2を介して冷蔵室 2内に供給された 後、野菜室 3を経て R蒸発器室 1 0 0に戻るという循環を繰り返す。これにより、 冷蔵室 2及び野菜室 3が冷却される。
冷蔵庫本体 1内のうち切替室 4、 製氷室、 冷凍室 5の後部には冷凍用蒸発器室
(以下、 F蒸発器室) 1 0 1が設けられている。 前記 F蒸発器室 1 0 1には、 冷 凍用冷気循環ファン (以下、 Fファン) 1 5、 切替室 4、 製氷室及び冷凍室 5の 冷却器を構成する冷凍用蒸発器 (以下、 F蒸発器) 1 6、 シ一ズヒータからなる 除霜ヒー夕 1 8等が配設されている。
Fファン 1 5が駆動されると、 F蒸発器 1 6により冷却された冷気は、 切替室 4、 冷凍室 5、 製氷室に供給された後、 F蒸発器室 1 0 1に戻るという循環を繰 り返す。 これにより、 切替室 4、 冷凍室 5、 製氷室が冷却される。
また、 冷蔵庫本体 1の後下部には機械室 2 2が形成されている。 前記機械室 2 2内には、 圧縮機 2 0、 ワイヤフィンチューブからなる凝縮器 2 7、 圧縮機 2 0 および凝縮器 2 7を冷却するための放熱ファン (以下、 Cファン) 1 9などが配 設されている。
図 4は、 本実施例に係る冷蔵庫の冷凍サイクルの構成を示している。 本実施例 に係る冷凍サイクルは冷媒として可燃性冷媒例えば H C冷媒が使用されている。 図 4に示すように、圧縮機 2 0の吐出口 2 0 aは凝縮器 2 7に接続されている。 前記凝縮器 2 7の出口は切替弁 2 6の入口ポートに接続されている。 前記切替弁 2 6の 2個の出口ポートのうちの一方は、 冷蔵用キヤビラリチューブ (以下、 R キヤビラリチューブ) 2 9を介して R蒸発器 1 4の入口に接続されている。また、 前記切替弁 2の他方の出口ポートは、 冷凍用キヤビラリチューブ (以下、 Fキヤ ビラリチューブ) 3 0を介して F蒸発器 1 6の入口に接続されている。 また、 前 記 R蒸発器 1 4の出口は F蒸発器 1 6の入口に接続されている。 そして、 F蒸発 器 1 6の出口はアキユームレー夕 3 4を介して圧縮機 2 0の吸入口 2 0 bに接続 されている。
前記切替弁 2 6は、 例えばモー夕駆動式のもので、 入口ポートを 2個の出口ポ —卜のいずれかに連通させる状態、 両方に連通させる状態 (全開状態)、 いずれに も連通させない状態 (全閉状態) に切替可能に構成されている。
後述するように、 冷蔵室 2及び野菜室 3を冷却する冷蔵冷却モードでは、 冷媒 流路のうち Rキヤビラリチューブ 2 9 、 R蒸発器 1 4を通って F蒸発器 1 6に向 かう第 1の経路を冷媒が流通するように切替弁 2 6は切替えられる。 また、 冷凍 室 5、 切替室 4、 製氷室を冷却する冷凍冷却モードでは、 Fキヤビラリチューブ 3 0を通って F蒸発器 1 6に向かう第 2の経路を冷媒が流通するように切替弁 2 6は切替えられる。
図 5は、本実施例に係る冷蔵庫の電気的構成を示している。制御装置 7 0には、 ドアスィッチ 5 7、 複数の室内温度センサ 5 8、 外気温センサ 7 1、 複数の蒸発 器温度センサ 5 9、 操作パネル 6 0の音声部 6 1、 表示部 6 2、 操作部 6 3、 圧 縮機 2 0の駆動源である圧縮機モータ 2 0 0、 Rファン 1 3, Fファン 1 5 , C ファン 1 9、 除霜ヒー夕 1 8、 庫内灯 1 7、 脱臭装置 2 3、 開扉装置 2 5、 切替 弁 2 6等が接続されている。
ドアスィッチ 5 7は冷蔵室 2の扉 6の開閉を検出するためのものである。 制御 装置 7 0は、ドアスィツチ 5 7からの検出信号に基づき扉 6の開放を検出すると、 庫内灯 1 7を点灯する。
室内温度センサ 5 8は、 各貯蔵室の庫内温度を検出するものであり、 蒸発器温 度センサ 5 9は各蒸発器 1 4, 1 6の温度を検出するものである。 外気温センサ 7 1は庫外温度 (室温) を検出するものである。 制御装置 7 0は、 これら温度セ ンサ 5 8 , 5 9 , 7 1の検出温度や操作部 6 3からの操作信号等に基づき圧縮機 モータ 2 0 0、 Rファン 1 3, Fファン 1 5, Cファン 1 9、 除霜ヒータ 1 8、 脱臭装置 2 3、 開扉装置 2 5、 切替弁 2 6を制御する。
詳しい説明は省略するが、 前記制御装置 7 0は、 パルス幅変調によるインバー 夕制御により前記圧縮機モー夕 2 0 0を駆動するように構成されている。 後述す るように、 制御装置 7 0は、 パルス幅変調のデューティ値に基づいて圧縮機 2 0 の負荷を検出し、 冷凍サイクルにおける損傷の有無、 及び損傷が発生した部位が 冷凍サイクルの低圧側か高圧側かを検出する。 そして、 その検出結果に基づき、 冷凍サイクルにおける冷媒漏れの発生或いは冷媒漏れの発生の前兆を検出するよ うになっている。
ここで、 圧縮機 2 0の負荷と圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューティ値との閧係につ いて図 6及び図 7を参照しながら説明する。 図 6及び図 7は、 それぞれ冷凍サイ クルの低圧側及び高圧側に損傷が発生したときの圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューテ ィ値の変化を調べた実験結果である。 ここでは、 冷凍サイクルの管路にピンホ一 ルを開けることにより、 損傷が発生したこととしている。 また、 冷凍サイクルの 低圧側とは、 キヤビラリチューブ 2 9 , 3 0から圧縮機 2 0の吸入口 2 0 bまで の間であり、 冷凍サイクルの高圧側とは、 圧縮機 2 0の吐出口 2 0 aからキヤピ ラリチューブ 2 9 , 3 0までの間である。
図 6及び図 7において、 「R冷却」 とは冷蔵冷却モードを、 「F冷却」 とは冷凍 冷却モードを示している。「停止」とは圧縮機モータ 2 0 0を断電した状態を、 「運 転停止」 とは、 圧縮機モータ 2 0 pを断電すると共に切替弁 2 6を閉鎖し、 且つ Rファン 1 3、 Fファン 1 5、 Cファン 1 9は O N状態でその他の電気部品を〇 F Fした状態を示している。 また、 冷凍サイクルの管路にピンホールをあけたと きを矢印 Aで、 冷媒が漏れたこと又は冷媒が漏れる前兆を検出したときを矢印 B で示している。 更に、 図 6において、 圧縮機 2 0が異常停止したときを矢印 Cで 示している。
図 6に示すように、 冷凍サイクルの低圧側の管路にピンホールが開くと圧縮機 モータ 2 0 0のデューティ値が上昇する。 これは、 ピンホールが開けられた管路 内が低圧であるため前記ピンホールから外気が吸い込まれ、 圧縮機 2 0に負荷が かかるためと考えられる。 また、 図 6に示すように、 圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデュ 一ティ値が上昇し続けると、 回転数指令に合致した速度で圧縮機モ一夕 2 0 0の 回転子を回転させることができなくなるため、 制御装置 7 0は前記圧縮機モータ 7 0を強制的に停止させる (異常停止)。
尚、 冷凍サイクルの低圧側で損傷が発生しても、 暫くの間は外気を吸い込むだ けで冷媒は漏れない。 そして、 圧縮機モータ 2 0 0が停止した後や冷却モードを 交互に 1, 2回繰り返した後、 徐々に冷媒が漏れ出す。
—方、図 7に示すように、冷凍サイクルの高圧側の管路にピンホールが開くと、 圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューティ値が減少する。 これは、 ピンホールが開けられ た管路内が高圧なため、 ピンホールが開くと同時に且つ急激に冷媒が漏れ始め、 圧縮機 2 0の負荷が軽減するためだと考えられる。 これに対して、 冷凍サイクルに損傷が発生する前の正常状態においても、 運転 モードが切り替わることにより圧縮機モー夕 2 0 0のデューティ値が変動する。 また、 F冷却モードから R冷却モードに切替えた直後はポンプダウン (冷凍用蒸 発器内の冷媒を圧縮機で吸引して回収する) 運転が行われるため、 圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューティ値が一時的に上昇する。 更に、 圧縮機 2 0を停止させた後の F冷却モード開始時は圧縮機 2 0が安定しておらず、 圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデュ —ティ値が一時的に上昇する。 更にまた、 扉 6が開放されることによつても圧縮 機モ一夕 2 0 0のデューティ値が大きく変動する (図 8参照)。
以上から、 制御装置 7 0は、 閉扉中でかつ同一運転モード中のデューティ値の 変動に基づいて冷媒漏れの発生或いは冷媒漏れが発生する前兆を検出するように なっている。
次に、 本実施例の作用について説明する。 まず、 冷却運転実行手段としての制 御装置 7 0が実行する冷却運転について説明する。 制御装置 7 0は、 切替弁 2 6 を切替えることにより、 冷蔵室 2及び野菜室 3を冷却する冷蔵冷却モード、 冷凍 室 5、 切替室 4、 製氷室を冷却するための冷凍冷却モードを交互に実行する。 冷蔵冷却モードでは、 制御装置 7 0は冷媒が Rキヤビラリチューブ 2 9、 R蒸 発器 1 4を通って F蒸発器 1 6に向かうように切替弁 R 2 6を切替える。 このと き、 Rファン 1 3及び Cファン 1 9が駆動される。 これにより、 R蒸発器 1 4に より冷却された空気は冷蔵室 2や野菜室 3に供給され、 以つて冷蔵室 2及び野菜 室 3が冷却される。
冷凍冷却モードでは、 制御装置 7 0は、 冷媒が Fキヤビラリチューブ 3 0を通 つて F蒸発器 1 6に向かうように切替弁 2 6を切替える。 このとき、 Fファン 1 5及び Cファン 1 9が駆動される。 これにより F蒸発器 1 6により冷却された空 気は冷凍室 5や切替室 4、 製氷室に供給され、 以つて、 冷凍室 5、 切替室 4、 製 氷室が冷却される。 なお、 切替室 4は、 設定された温度になるようにダンパ (図 示せず) などによって冷気の供給量が調節されるように構成されている。
また、冷凍冷却モードでは、制御装置 7 0は Rファン 1 3も駆動する。これは、 R蒸発器 1 4に付着した霜を解かして除霜を促進するためである。 これにより、 冷蔵室 5内を循環する空気に含まれる水分量が多くなり、 冷蔵室 5内の湿度を高 くすることができる。
尚、 冷蔵冷却モードと冷凍冷却モードとを切替えるタイミングは、 各モードの 実行時間や冷蔵室 2及び冷凍室 5の温度等によって予め決められている。
例えば、 冷蔵冷却モードが所定時間 (例えば 2 0分間) 経過したとき、 又は冷 蔵室 2が冷却停止温度に達し、 かつ冷凍室 5が目標温度に対して所定温度 (例え ば 2 °C ) 以上上昇したときに、 冷蔵冷却モードから冷凍冷却モードに切り替えら れる。
また、 上述の冷却運転とは別に、 制御装置 7 0は圧縮機 2 0の積算運転時間が 例えば 8時間経過すると、 除霜ヒータ 1 8に通電して除霜運転を実行する。 これ により、 F蒸発器 1 6に付着した霜が解かされる。 そして、 F蒸発器 1 6の温度 が所定温度、 例えば 3 °Cに達すると除霜運転を終了し、 通常の冷却運転を再開す る。
次に、 冷媒漏れの発生及び冷媒漏れの発生の前兆を検出するために制御装置 7
0が実行する処理内容について、 図 1及び図 2のフローチャートを参照しながら 説明する。
制御装置 7 0は、 通常の冷却運転が実行されていること、 及び、 高電圧の電気 部品が O N状態にあること (ステップ 1にて Y E S ) を条件に、 ステップ 2に移 行する。
ステップ 2では、 扉 6が閉鎖されているか否かを判断する。 そして、 扉 6が閉 鎖されているときは (Y E S )、 ステップ 3に移行する。
尚、 閉扉された直後も圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューティ値に大きな変動がみら れるため、 制御装置 7 0はドアスィッチ 5 7により閉扉が検知されてから所定時 間、 例えば 5分間は閉扉されていないと判断する。 また、 圧縮機 2 0の停止中、 除霜運転中、 R冷却前のポンプダウン (冷凍用蒸発器 1 6内の冷媒を圧縮機 2 0 で吸引して回収する動作) を行っているとき等は圧縮機 2 0のデューティ値が適 正ではないため、 制御装置 7 0は上記タイミングではデューティ値の検出を行わ ないようにしている。
ステップ 3では、 冷却モードを切り替えたか否か、 又は圧縮機モータ 2 0 0の 回転数を変更したか否かが判断される。 そして、 冷却モードの切替え及び圧縮機 モ一夕 2 0 0の回転数の変更がいずれもないときは(N O )、ステップ 4に移行し、 冷却モードの切り替え等があれば (Y E S )、 ステップ 5に移行する。
ステップ 4では、 基準デューティ値が設定されているか否かを判断する。 そし て、 基準デューティ値が設定されているときはステップ 6に進み、 基準デューテ ィ値が設定されていないときはステップ 2に戻る。 ステップ 3及び 4の処理によ り、 圧縮機 2 0が安定していない例えば冷蔵庫の電源投入時に基準デューティ値 が設定されることが防止される。
ステップ 5では、制御装置 7 0は圧縮機モー夕 2 0 0のデューティ値を検出し、 基準デューティ値として記憶する。 これは、 冷却モードを切替えると、 また、 圧 縮機モータ 2 0 0の回転数を変更するとデューティ値が大きく変動するため、 基 準デューティ値を設定し直す必要があるからである。 この場合、 冷却モードの切 り替え直後や圧縮機モ一夕 2 0 0の回転数の変更直後はデューティ値が安定しな レ 従って、 冷却モードを切替えてから、 或いは圧縮機モー夕 2 0 0の回転数を 変更してから所定時間、 例えば 2分間経過した後のデューティ値が基準デューテ ィ値として記憶される。
ステップ 6では、 制御装置 7 0は扉 7が閉鎖されているか否かを判断する。 そ して、 扉 7が閉鎖されていればステップ 7に進む。 ステップ 7では、 制御装置 7 0は圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューティ値を検出する。 そして、 検出されたデュー ティ値とステップ 5で記憶した基準デューティ値とを比較し、 検出されたデュー ティ値が基準デューティ値よりも増加しているときは (ステップ 8にて Y E S )、 ステップ 9に進む。
ステップ 9では、 制御装置 7 0は検出されたデューティ値の基準デューティ馐 に対する増加率が所定値、 例えば 1 0 %以上であるか否かを判断する。 そして、 増加率が 1 0 %以上であればステップ 1 0に進み、 1 0 %未満であればステップ 1に戻る。
ステップ 8及びステツプ 9は、 冷凍サイクルの低圧側に損傷が発生しているか 否か、 言い換えると、 冷凍サイクルの低圧側で冷媒漏れが発生する或いは発生す る虡があるか否かを判断する処理に相当する。 従って、 本実施例では制御装置 7 0が低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段として機能する。
ステップ 1 0では、 制御装置 7 0は高電圧の電気部品の運転を停止する。 ここ で、 高電圧の電気部品とは、 配線が切断されて故障した場合などに火花放電が発 生する電気部品のことであり、 本実施例では脱臭装置 2 3が高電圧の電気部品に 相当する。
圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューティ値の上昇は、 冷凍サイクルの低圧側で損傷が 発生した場合の他、 冷凍サイクルの状態が不安定になった場合や比較的温度の高 い食品が投入された場合などにも起きる。 従って、 デューティ値の一時的な上昇 だけでは、冷媒漏れが発生するか否かを正確に判断することはできない。そこで、 ステップ 1 0では、冷媒漏れが発生するか否かが不確かな状態ではあるが、万一、 冷媒漏れが発生すると発火するおそれがある高電圧の電気部品のみを停止きせる ようにしている。
尚、 前記脱臭装置 2 3は防爆構造を有しており、 冷媒漏れが発生しても発火し ないように構成されている。 しかし、 ここでは、 安全性をより確実なものとする ために停止させている。 また、 開扉装置 2 5も高電圧の電気部品であるが、 庫外 に配設されており冷媒漏れが発生しても発火するおそれが少ない。 更に、 開扉装 置 2 5は、 脱臭装置 2 3と異なり停止したことを使用者が気づき易い。 従って、 冷媒漏れが発生するか否かが不確かな状態で停止させると、 冷媒が漏れていなか つた場合に使用者に不信感を与えることにもなる。 このため、 本実施例では開扉 装置 2 5を停止させず、 信頼性の向上を図っている。 但し、 開扉装置 2 5は冷却 性能に影響を及ぼさないため、 停止させても良い。
ステップ 1 1では、 圧縮機 2 0が異常停止したか否かが判断される。 そして、 異常停止していなければステップ 1 2に進み、 異常停止していれ ステップ 1 3 に進む。
ステップ 1 2では、 デューティ値の変動が検出されてから所定時間 (例えば 1 時間) 経過したか、 又は冷却モードの切り替えが所定回数 (例えば 3回) 行われ たか否かが判断される。そして、冷媒漏れが発生してから所定時間経過したとき、 或いは、 冷却モードの切り替えが所定回数行われたときはステップ 1に戻る。 一 方、 冷媒漏れが発生してから所定時間経過するまで、 或いは、 冷却モードの切り 替えが所定回数行われるまではステップ 1 1の処理を繰り返す。
上述したように、 冷媒が漏れていない状態で圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューティ 値に変動があつたとしても、 ある程度の時間が経過すれば安定した状態に戻る。 しかし、 実際に冷媒漏れが発生した場合は、 圧縮機モータ 2 0 0のデューティ値 は増加を続け、 やがて、 圧縮機 2 0は異常停止する。
従って、 デューティ値の変動が検出されても、 圧縮機 2 0が異常停止すること なく所定時間が経過したときは、 損傷の発生、 冷媒漏れの発生とは別の要因でデ ユーティ値が変動したものと判断し、 ステップ 1に戻る。 このとき、 高電圧の電 気部品の停止状態は解除される。
一方、 ステップ 1 3では、 切替弁 2 6を全閉状態に切り替えた後、 圧縮機モー 夕 2 0 0を断電する。 ここでは、 冷凍サイクルの低圧側において損傷が発生した ものと判断し、 損傷発生部位から冷媒が漏れることを防止するための処理が実行 される。
また、 Rファン 1 3、 Fファン 1 5、 Cファン 1 9以外の電気部品が停止され る。 これにより、庫内における着火原因が全て排除される。更に、 Rファン 1 3、 Fファン 1 5、 Cファン 1 9の駆動により、 万一、 冷媒が漏出した場合でも、 貯 蔵室内等に冷媒が滞留して発火限界濃度に達することが防止される。 尚、 各ファ ンは防爆構造を採用するか、 又はブラシレスモータを採用して、 着火原因となら ないように構成する。
ステップ 1 4では、 ステップ 1 3の処理を開始してから所定時間、 例えば 3時 間経過したか否かが判断される。 そして、 3時間経過すれば、 ステップ 1 5に移 行して、 Rファン 1 3、 Fファン 1 5、 Cファン 1 9を停止させて処理を終了す る。 尚、 制御装置 7 0は、 全ての処理が終った段階で冷凍サイクルに損傷が発生 した旨のメッセージを表示部 6 2又は音声部 6 1を通して報知する。
これに対して、 ステップ 8にて検出されたデューティ値が基準デューティ値よ りも増加していないと判断されると (N O )、 ステップ 1 6に移行する。
ステップ 1 6では、 制御装置 7 0は、 検出されたデューティ値の基準デューテ ィ値に対する減少率が所定値、 例えば 1 0 %以上であるか否かを判断する。 そし て、 減少率が 1 0 %以上であればステップ 1 7に進み、 1 0 %未満であればステ ップ 1に戻る。
ステップ 8及ぴステップ 1 6は、 冷凍サイクルの高圧側に損傷が発生している か否か、 言い換えると、 冷凍サイクルの高圧側で冷媒漏れが発生する或いは発生 する虞があるか否かを判断する処理に相当する。 従って、 本実施例では制御装置 7 0は高圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段として機能する。
ステップ 1 7では、 制御装置 7 0は切替弁 2 6を全閉状態に切り替えて圧縮機 モータ 2 0 0を停止させると共に Cファン 1 9を駆動する。 ここでは、 冷凍サイ クルの高圧側に損傷が発生したものと判断して、 損傷発生箇所から漏出した冷媒 を速やかに拡散させる処理が実行される。 前述したように、 冷凍サイクルの高圧 側に損傷が発生すると、 冷凍サイクル内の冷媒は短時間で全て漏出するからであ る。
ステップ 1 8では、 ステップ 1 7の処理を開始してから所定時間、 例えば 8分 間経過したか否かが判断される。そして、 8分間経過すればステップ 1 9に進み、 通常の冷却運転を再開する。
ステップ 1 6で基準デューティ値に対する検出デューティ値の減少率が 1 0 % 以上と判断され、 冷凍サイクルの高圧側で損傷が発生したことが検出された場合 でも、 実際には損傷が発生していない場合もある。 そこで、 制御装置 7 0は、 冷 媒を拡散させる処理 (ステップ 1 7 ) を行った後は、 通常の冷却運転を再開し、 処理を終了するようになっている。
このような構成により、 冷凍サイクルの高圧側に損傷が発生していないにもか かわらず長時間、 冷却運転が停止されることがない。 また、 万一、 冷凍サイクル の高圧側で損傷が発生していた場合でも、 冷凍サイクル内のほぼ全ての冷媒は漏 出しているため、 冷却運転が再開されることにより漏れ出る冷媒が発火する可能 性はない。
尚、 冷凍サイクルの高圧側で損傷が発生している場合は、 冷却運転を再開して も貯蔵庫内は冷却されない。 従って、 庫内温度の上昇により、 異常が発生した旨 が報知されることになる。
以上の処理のうちステップ 1 0〜 1 5、 ステップ 1 7〜 1 9は誤検知防止制御 手段としての処理に相当する。 つまり、 制御装置 7 0は誤検知防止制御手段とし て機能する。
以上の説明より明らかなように本実施例によれば、 冷凍サイクルに冷媒漏れが 発生することを初期の段階で検出するので、 冷凍サイクルの冷媒として可燃性冷 媒を用いた場合でも安全性を確保することができる。
また、 冷凍サイクルに損傷が発生した部位が低圧側であるか高圧側であるかを 判断し、 損傷発生部位に応じた処理を行うように構成した。 従って、 冷媒漏れが 発生したときに起こり得る危険性を確実に回避することができる。
更に、 冷凍サイクルの冷媒が実際に漏れたか否かが不確かな状態では冷却運転 を継続させ、 冷媒が漏れたことが判明したときに冷却運転を停止させるように構 成した。 従って、 冷却運転が不必要に停止されることを極力避けることができ、 信頼性の向上を図ることができる。
尚、 本発明は、 上記した実施例に限定されるものではなく、 例えば次のような 変形が可能である。
冷媒漏れ検出手段は、 冷凍サイクルを構成する蒸発器や圧縮機、 凝縮機の異常 な温度上昇に基づいて冷凍サイクルから冷媒が漏れたこと又は冷媒が漏れる前兆 を検出するように構成しても良い。 また、 貯蔵室内や機械室内の冷媒濃度を検出 するセンサを設け、 前記センサの検出結果に基づいて冷凍サイクルから冷媒が漏 れたこと又は冷媒が漏れる前兆を検出するように構成することも可能である。 産業上の利用可能性
以上のように、 本発明にかかる冷蔵庫は、 オゾン破壊係数が小さく且つ地球温 暖化係数が小さい可燃性冷媒を採用することにより地球環境に配慮した冷凍サイ クルを備えた冷蔵庫として有用である。

請 求 の 範 囲
1. 冷蔵庫本体 (1) と、
前記冷蔵庫本体に設けられた貯蔵室 (2, 3, 4, 5) と、
圧縮機 (20)、 凝縮器 (27)、 蒸発器 (14, 16) を備え可燃性冷媒が封 入された冷凍サイクルと、
前記冷蔵庫本体 (1) に設けられた高電圧電気部品 (2 3) と、
前記圧縮機 (20) を駆動することにより前記貯蔵室を冷却する冷却運転手段 (70) とを有する冷蔵庫において、
前記冷凍サイクルの低圧側から前記冷媒が漏れたこと又は前記冷媒が漏れる前 兆を検出する低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) と、
前記低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) により前記冷媒が漏れたこと又は前記冷 媒が漏れる前兆が検出されたときに、 前記冷却運転手段 (70) に継続して冷却 運転を実行させると共に前記高電圧電気部品 (23) を一時的に停止させる誤検 知防止制御手段 (70) とを備えることを特徴とする冷蔵庫。
2. クレーム 1の冷蔵庫において、
前記貯蔵室は、 冷蔵室 (2) 及び冷凍室 (5) を備えて構成され、
前記冷凍サイクルは、 前記冷蔵室 (2) を冷却するための冷蔵用蒸発器 (14) と、 前記冷凍室 (5) を冷却するための冷凍用蒸発器 (16) と、 主として前記 冷蔵用蒸発器 (14) に前記冷媒を供給する第 1の経路及び主として前記冷凍用 蒸発器 (16) に前記冷媒を供給する第 2の経路からなる冷媒流路と、 前記冷媒 が流通する経路を切替える切替弁 (26) とを備えて構成され、
前記冷却運転手段 (70) は、 前記切替弁 (26) の動作を制御することによ り前記冷媒を前記第 1の経路に流通させて前記冷蔵室を冷却する冷蔵冷却モ一ド と、 前記冷媒を前記第 2の経路に流通させて前記冷凍室を冷却する冷凍冷却モー ドとを交互に実行するように構成されている。
3. クレーム 1の冷蔵庫において、 前記誤検知防止制御手段 (70) は、 前記高電圧電気部品 (23) を停止させ てから所定時間経過後に前記低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段が冷媒が漏れたこと或いは 冷媒が漏れる前兆を検出しないときは、 前記高電圧電気部品の停止を解除するよ うに構成されている。
4. クレーム 2の冷蔵庫において、
前記誤検知防止制御手段 (70) は、 前記高電圧電気部品 (23) を停止させ てから前記冷却運転手段 (70) が冷却モードを所定回数切替えた後に、 前記低 圧側冷媒 Sれ検出手段 (70) により前記冷媒が漏れたことが検出されないとき 或いは前記冷媒が漏れる前兆が検出されないときは、 前記高電圧電気部品の停止 を解除するように構成されている。
5. クレーム 1の冷蔵庫において、
前記冷蔵庫本体 (1) に設けられファン装置 (13, 1 5, 19) を含む非高 電圧電気部品を備え、
前記誤検知防止制御手段 (70) は、 前記高電圧電気部品 (23) を停止させ てから所定時間経過するまでに前記低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) により前記 冷媒が漏れたこと或いは前記冷媒が漏れる前兆が検出されたときは、 前記ファン 装置以外の非高電圧電気部品を停止させるように構成されている。
6. クレーム 2の冷蔵庫において、
前記冷蔵庫本体 (1) に設けられファン装置 (13, 15, 19) を含む非高 電圧電気部品を備え、
前記誤検知防止制御手段 (70) は、 前記高電圧電気部品 (23) を停止させ てから前記冷却運転手段 (70) が冷却モードを所定回数切替える間に、 前記低 圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) により前記冷媒が漏れたこと或いは前記冷媒が漏 れる前兆が検出されたときは、 前記ファン装置 (13, 15, 19) 以外の非高 電圧電気部品を停止させるように構成されている。
7. クレーム 1の冷蔵庫において、
前記圧縮機 (20) の駆動源は、 パルス幅変調によってインパー夕制御される モータ ( 2 0 0 ) から構成され、
前記低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (7 0 ) は、 基準デューティ値に対する前記モー 夕 (2 0 0 ) のデューティ値の増加率に基づき冷凍サイクルの低圧側から冷媒が 漏れていること或いは冷媒が漏れる前兆を検出するように構成されている。
8 . クレーム 7の冷蔵庫において、
前記冷蔵庫本体( 1 ) に設けられ前記貯蔵室を開閉するための扉(6 ) を備え、 前記低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (7 0 ) は、 前記扉の閉鎖中における前記モ一夕 ( 2 0 0 ) のデュ一ティ値に基づき基準デューティ値を設定する。
9 . クレーム 7の冷蔵庫において、
前記低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (7 0 ) は、 前記モータ ( 2 0 0 ) の回転数が変 更されてから所定時間経過後の前記モータ ( 2 0 0 ) のデューティ値に基づき基 準デューティ値を設定する。
1 0 . クレーム 7の冷蔵庫において、
前記冷蔵庫本体(1 ) に設けられ前記貯蔵室を開閉するための扉(6 ) を備え、 前記低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (7 0 ) は、 前記基準デューティ値に対する前記 扉 (6 ) の閉鎖中における前記モ一夕 (2 0 0 ) のデュ一ティ値の増加率に基づ き冷凍サイクルの低圧側から冷媒が漏れていること或いは冷媒が漏れる前兆を検 出するように構成されている。
1 1 . クレーム 2の冷蔵庫において、
前記圧縮機 (2 0 ) の駆動源は、 パルス幅変調によってインバー夕制御される モータ (2 0 0 ) から構成され、
前記低圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (7 0 ) は、 前記冷却運転手段 (7 0 ) が冷却モ 一ドを切り替えてから所定時間経過後の前記モータ (2 0 0のデューティ値に基 づき基準デューティ値を設定すると共に、 前記基準デューティ値に対する前記モ —夕 ( 2 0 0 ) のデューティ値の増加率に基づき前記冷凍サイクルの低圧側から 前記冷媒が漏れていること或いは前記冷媒が漏れる前兆を検出するように構成さ れている。
12. 冷蔵庫本体 (1) と、
前記冷蔵庫本体に設けられた貯蔵室 (2, 3, 4, 5) と、
圧縮機 (20)、 凝縮器 (27)、 蒸発器 (14, 16) を備え可燃性冷媒が封 入された冷凍サイクルと、
前記圧縮機 (20) 又は前記凝縮器.(27) の熱を放出させるための放熱ファ ン (1 9) と、
前記圧縮機 (20) を駆動することにより前記貯蔵室を冷却する冷却運転手段 (70) とを有する冷蔵庫において、
前記冷凍サイクルの高圧側から前記冷媒が漏れたこと又は前記冷媒が漏れる前 兆を検出する高圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) と、
前記高圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) により冷媒が漏れたこと又は冷媒が漏れ る前兆が検出されたときに、 前記圧縮機 (20) の運転を停止して前記放熱ファ ン (1 9) を所定時間回転させた後、 前記圧縮機 (20) の運転を再開させる誤 検知防止制御手段 (70) とを備えることを特徴とする冷蔵庫。
13. クレーム 12の冷蔵庫において、
前記圧縮機 (20) の駆動源は、 パルス幅変調によってインバ一タ制御される モ一夕 ( 200 ) から構成され、
前記高圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) は、 基準デューティ値に対する前記モー タ (200 ) のデューティ値の減少率に基づき前記冷凍サイクルの高圧側から前 記冷媒が漏れていること或いは前記冷媒が漏れる前兆を検出するように構成され ている。
14. クレーム 13の冷蔵庫において、
前記冷蔵庫本体 8 1)に設けられ前記貯蔵室を開閉するための扉(6)を備え、 前記高圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) は、 前記扉 (6) の閉鎖中における前記 モータ (200 ) のデューティ値に基づき前記基準デューティ値を設定する。
15. クレーム 13の冷蔵庫において、
前記冷蔵庫本体(1)に設けられ前記貯蔵室を開閉するための扉(6)を備え、 前記高圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) は、 前記基準デューティ値に対する前記 扉の閉鎖中における前記モータ (200) のデューティ値の減少率に基づき前記 冷凍サイクルの高圧側から前記冷媒が漏れていること或いは前記冷媒が漏れる前 兆を検出するように構成されている。
16. クレーム 13の冷蔵庫において、
前記高圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) は、 前記モー夕 ( 200 ) の回転数が変 更されてから所定時間経過後の前記モータ (200) のデューティ値に基づき基 準デューティ値を設定する。
1 7. クレーム 13の冷蔵庫において、
前記貯蔵室は、 冷蔵室 (2) 及び冷凍室 (5) を備えて構成され、
前記冷凍サイクルは、 前記冷蔵室 (2) を冷却するための冷蔵用蒸発器 (14) と、 前記冷凍室 (5) を冷却するための冷凍用蒸発器 (16) と、 主として前記 冷蔵用蒸発器に前記冷媒を供給する第 1の経路及び主として前記冷凍用蒸発器に 前記冷媒を供給する第 2の経路からなる冷媒流路と、 前記冷媒が流通する経路を 切替える切替弁 (26) とを備えて構成され、
前記冷却運転手段 (70) は、 前記切替弁 (26) の動作を制御することによ り前記冷媒を前記第 1の経路に流通させて前記冷蔵室 (2) を冷却する冷蔵冷却 モードと、 前記冷媒を前記第 2の経路に流通させて前記冷凍室 (5) を冷却する 冷凍冷却モードとを交互に実行するように構成され、
前記高圧側冷媒漏れ検出手段 (70) は、 前記冷却運転手段 (70) が冷却モ
—ドを切り替えてから所定時間経過後の前記モータ (200) のデューティ値に 基づき基準デューティ値を設定すると共に、 前記基準デューティ値に対する前記 モータ (200) のデューティ値の増加率に基づき前記冷凍サイクルの高圧側か ら冷媒が漏れていること或いは冷媒が漏れる前兆を検出するように構成されてい る。
