Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Leistungsermittlung eines Prüflings (26), insbesondere eines Verbrennungsmotors, mit einer Messvorrichtung zur Erfassung des zeitlichen Verlaufs der Drehzahl sowie des Drehmomentenverlaufs einer Abtriebswelle des Prüflings (26). Zur Ermittlung der Leistung zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt wird ausschliesslich der zeitliche Verlauf der Drehzahl und der Dremomentenverlauf gemessen. Der Prüfling (26) wird dabei innerhalb einer solchen Zeitspanne geprüft, bei welcher keine Notwendigkeit einer Zwangskühlung besteht.
