Cet inhibiteur est un composé représenté par la formule (I), dans laquelle R1 et R2 représentent chacun l'aryle éventuellement substitué, l'arylalkyle inférieur éventuellement substitué, l'arylalcényle inférieur, l'aryloxyalkyle inférieur ou un groupe hétérocyclique éventuellement substitué. Ce composé est utile en tant qu'inhibiteur des MMP.
