Description

Im Glasfalz einer Fassade oder eines Lichtdaches vorgesehene Trägereinheit Support unit provided in the glazing rebate of a facade or a light roof
The present invention relates to a support unit for glass panes or infill panels provided in a glazing rebate of a facade or a light roof, the outer edges of which bear against seals of cover strips and the edges of the building of which bear against the seals of mullion or transom profiles, an attachment profile being attached to the transom profiles.
An attachment profile 51, on which an attachment seal 54 is provided, is welded to a bolt 50. The top seal 54 encompasses a groove projection 53 in the center of the top profile 51 and is laterally connected to a projection 52 of the top profile 51. A glass pane 56 is fixed to the lateral sealing profiles 55, a cover strip 57 being provided for fastening, which is fixed to the latch 50 by means of screws 59. Seals 58 are provided between the cover strip 57 and the glass pane 56, while the cover strip 57 is covered on the outside by a cover cap 61.
In order to also be able to absorb holding forces on the locking profile 50 in the known facade construction, a glass support 60 is inserted into the groove projection 53 of the attachment profile 51. The attachment of the glass support 60 is very simple, but is statically at an unfavorable point, so that, due to unfavorable leverage and weak material, no particularly large loads can be removed.
It is the object of the present invention to provide a support unit for increased load transfers, which can be easily and inexpensively installed in a mullion-transom construction. This object is achieved with a support unit of the type mentioned at the beginning, in which the attachment profile is provided, at least in sections, with a glass support plate which can be connected to the locking profile and extends centrally into the rebate space. Through the direct connection of the glass support plate with the transom profile, the weight of the glass panes or infill panels can be derived directly from the transom and post construction. This eliminates the mechanical weak points that arise from the mechanical connection of several components.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the top section is provided with a cutout in the area of the glass carrier plate and the glass carrier plate can be connected, preferably welded, to the locking profile. Due to the direct contact of the glass support plate with the transom profile and the possibility of creating a welded connection, large holding forces can be removed via the transom profile. The cutout can be dimensioned such that the glass support plate can be welded to the transom profile on both sides.
If the glass carrier plate is aligned in alignment with a groove projection of the top profile, there is no longer any need to align the glass carrier plate with the top profile during assembly. It also ensures that the groove projection and the glass support plate form a surface on which a common sealing profile can be created.
An attachment seal is therefore preferably provided, which extends continuously over the attachment profile and the glass support plate. This ensures the sealing function of the top seal over the entire length of the transom profile. For easy installation, the attachment seal has two legs which grip around the glass support plate or the groove projection in order to put the attachment seal over it. The legs of the attachment seal can be provided with a removable connecting web, so that the connection web rests on the groove projection in areas of the groove projection, while the connection web is removed in areas of the glass support plate and the upper connection section of the attachment seal rests on the upper edge of the glass support plate. The glass support is preferably made of steel for welding with steel structures or steel bars. The glass support can also consist of aluminum for an aluminum profile construction. With both materials, the glass carrier and structural design can be easily welded together.

The support structure of a glass facade shown in Fig. 1 comprises a post 1 and a transom 2, both of which are designed as a hollow profile made of steel. It is also possible to use a T-beam or other support profiles. An attachment profile 3 is mounted on the locking profile 2, on which an attachment seal 5 is arranged. The attachment seal 5 projects with a section 4 into the gap between two adjacent insulating glass panes 6. The insulating glass panes 6 are formed from two glass panes 7 with a spacer 8 arranged between them. To assemble the Insulating glass panes 6, a cover strip 9 is provided, which can be fixed with screw connections on the transom profile 2. The insulating glass pane 6 is spaced from the cover strip 9 via seals 10. To the outside, the cover strip 9 is surrounded by a cover 11.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the attachment profile 3 comprises a glass support plate 12. The glass support plate 12 is aligned along a groove projection 14 of the attachment profile 3. The attachment profile 3 is provided with a recess 13, so that the glass carrier plate 12 can be connected directly to the locking profile 2 in the region of the bottom of the attachment profile. The glass support plate 12 is made of steel and is welded to the groove projection 14 on the end face with an attachment 15. This eliminates the need to subsequently align the glass carrier plate 12. Furthermore, the glass carrier plate 12 is also equipped with a groove 16 which can be used to fix an attachment seal 5.
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 4, the glass carrier plate 12 was welded to the transom profile 2 on both sides, a weld seam 19 being formed. Weight forces occurring through the insulating glass pane 6 can be derived directly onto the transom profile 2 via the glass carrier plate 12.
The top seal 5 is provided with two legs 26 which encompass the carrier plate 12. On the upper edge of the top seal 5, a projection 23 is formed which engages in the groove 16 of the glass support plate 12. Furthermore, the top seal 5 has sealing lips 27 which bear against the insulating glass pane 6. On the side facing the locking profile 2, the top seal 5 is provided with a lower sealing profile 20 and an upper sealing profile 22. The lower sealing profile 20 has a recess in which a projection of the attachment profile engages. The upper sealing profile 22 lies against the insulating glass pane 6 and is connected in an articulated manner to the lower sealing profile 20 via a connecting section 21, so that the sealing profile 20 can be easily partially removed from the sealing profile 22. The connecting section 21 serves as a predetermined tear point. This is advantageous in the post overlap area and in the area of the glass support 12 (the height of the seal 22 corresponds to the difference in height of the profile 3 to the glass support strip 13). Due to the one-piece design of the attachment profile 3, the attachment seal 5 can be easily installed.
To mount the insulating glass pane, the attachment seal 5 shown in FIG. 6 is placed over the area of the attachment profile 3. In this case, a central web 25 of the attachment seal 5 bears against the groove projection of the attachment profile 3. The middle web 25 can be removed in a simple manner by predetermined breaking points, so that in the region of the glass carrier plate 12 the projection 23 of the attachment seal 5 lies against the groove 16 of the glass carrier plate 12. The top seal 5 comprises two legs 26 with sealing lips 24, and two sealing profiles 22 arranged on the legs 26, facing the top profile a further sealing profile 20 is provided which has a recess for engagement with a projection of the top profile 3.
In the support contraction shown, the glass support plate 12 is aligned with the groove projection 14 of the attachment profile 3. This allows the attachment seal 5 to be installed in a simple manner over the entire length of the locking profile. The top seal is provided between the legs 26 with a web which, when installed, rests on the top of the groove projection 14. In the area of the glass carrier plate 12, this web can be removed so that the glass carrier plate 12 can be received between the legs 26 of the attachment seal 5.
