Description

The present invention relates to a mullion and transom construction, in particular for a facade, according to the preamble of claim 1.

The DE 20 2013 105 586 U1 shows a façade construction in which panel-shaped filling elements are fixed to mullions and transoms, which are bordered between seals at the edges. Pressure strips are provided on the outside, which are fixed to the mullions and transoms by means of fasteners. In addition, glass supports are provided in the crossing area between the mullions and transoms in order to be able to at least partially absorb the weight loads of the insulating glass panes. The problem with such façade constructions is that a post is always provided in a corner area, so that the field of vision is subdivided.

The JP H06 33535 A discloses a structural glazing construction and the DE 10 2015 100 524 A1 a mullion and transom construction in which the filling elements are each held on two mullions and two transoms.

The JP H11 22083 A discloses a facade corner in which a connecting rod is provided in the corner area instead of a post profile.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a mullion-transom construction that enables an alternative support for a filling element, so that in particular a corner area of a mullion-transom construction can be designed to be visually appealing.

This object is achieved with a mullion and transom construction having the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, a plate-shaped infill element is arranged between an upper and a lower bar and adjacent to a post, the infill element being supported on the lower bar adjacent to the post on a support. The force can be dissipated at the support via the bolt and/or the post, so the force could also be introduced directly into the post via the support. The filling element is held by a holding element adjacent to the upper bar at the corner region diagonally opposite to the support. As a result, a further support on the lower bar can be dispensed with, so that the weight loads of the filling element are essentially carried by the support adjacent to the post and the holding element can be accommodated in the diagonally opposite corner area. This enables the use of very filigree components on the side opposite the post, since essentially only a seal has to be provided there, but no higher weight loads have to be absorbed. In particular, a so-called all-glass corner can also be produced in this way.

The holding element is preferably arranged in such a way that it supports the filling element on a vertical edge. The holding element can encompass the filling element in a U-shape or can engage in a groove on the filling element with a blade. To support the filling element, the retaining element can be clamped or fixed to the filling element in some other way.

The two bars are preferably connected to further bars on the side facing away from the post, which are aligned at an angle to the bars. The bars can be connected to the other bars at an angle of between 30° and 150°, in particular 60° and 120°, preferably at right angles. In this corner area, in which the bars are arranged at an angle to one another, the use of a post can be dispensed with, since the weight forces are carried by the filling element via the retaining element and the lower support.

The holding element can be designed, for example, as an angle that is fixed to a bolt. As a result, the forces can be dissipated via the holding element via the bolt. According to the invention, the holding element is fixed on one side to the filling element and on the opposite side to the post. The holding element comprises a tension element, which is a rope, belt, tension rod, profile, bar or rod in order to be able to absorb the corresponding tensile forces.

The filling element is preferably designed as an insulating glass pane, which is kept sealed on both bars and the mullion. On the fourth side, ie the side opposite the post, the insulating glass pane can be connected to a further insulating glass pane. The further insulating glass pane can preferably be aligned at an angle to the insulating glass pane, in particular at right angles. The two insulating glass panes can be held sealed to one another at the edge by means of sealant.

A post and beam construction 1 comprises vertical posts 2 to which several horizontal bars 3 are fixed. The bolts 3 can be provided in the area of a lower floor 4 and an upper floor 5, with the additional option of locking bars 3 being arranged in a parapet area. The facade construction includes a corner area in which no post 2 is provided. Only two posts 2 are provided at a distance from the corner area, with one bar 3 being connected in the corner area to a further bar 6 arranged at an angle thereto. The bolt 3 and the other bolt 6 can be aligned at right angles and be connected to one another in the miter area via a corner connector.

In the Figures 2A and 2B is the structure of the mullion and transom construction figure 1 shown with a filling element 7, in particular an insulating glass pane. The filling element 7 is surrounded by the two bars 3 and the post 2 and can be fixed there by clamping via sealing strips. To accommodate the weight loads, a schematically illustrated support 17 is provided, which is provided adjacent to the post 2 on the bolt 3 and can be designed, for example, as shown in FIG DE 20 2013 105 586 U1 in the figures 10 to 13 is shown. However, no support is provided on the lower bar 3 on the side facing away from the post 2 since the bar 3 is not supported on a post 2 in this area. In order to absorb the weight loads of the filling element 7, a holding element 8 is provided, which supports the filling element 7 in the upper corner area, which is diagonally opposite to the support 17. For this purpose, the holding element 8 is provided with a holder 9 which bears against a vertical edge of the filling element 7 , for example surrounds the filling element 7 in a U-shape or is fixed there in some other way, and is fixed to the post 2 by means of fastening means 10 . The holding element 8 comprises a rope, pull rod, band, profile or a rod in order to be able to absorb the weight loads of the filling element 7 which would otherwise cause the filling element 7 to pivot about the support 17 . The holding element 8 and the support 17 allow the essential tensile forces to be absorbed by weight loads without the bolt 3 being excessively loaded on the side facing away from the post 2 .

Hierdurch wird die Konstruktion filigraner - auch in horizontaler Ausrichtung - was speziell im Eckbereich und bei Ganzglasfassaden gewünscht wird. figure 2 also shows the possibility of inserting the tension element as a rope directly into the edge-side space between two panes of glass or into a bonded space between the panes. This makes the construction more filigree - also in the horizontal direction - which is particularly desirable in corner areas and with all-glass facades.

In figure 3 a corner area of the bolt 3 is shown in a plan view. The bolt 3 is fixed to a post 2, which has two grooves 20 on an outer side for receiving sealing strips, and a central groove 21 on which fastening means 22 are provided for fixing an outer pressure strip. The bolt 3 have corresponding outer grooves for sealing strips, and the post 2 and bolt 3 can as in the DE 20 2013 105 586 U1 be trained. However, no post 2 is provided in the corner area, so that the viewer's field of vision in the room is only slightly restricted is. In the corner area, an insulating glass pane meets as a filling element 7 onto a further insulating glass pane as a filling element 7 ′, which is aligned at right angles to the filling element 7 . The filling element 7 is plate-shaped and includes straight front edges. The further filling element 7' is likewise designed in the form of a plate and comprises an outer glass pane 70 which protrudes at the edge on the outer side, so that the edge is designed in the shape of an angle. This angular configuration provides a gap 72 between the protruding glass pane 70 and an end face of the filling element 7, and a gap 73 on the inside of the filling element 7 and the end face of the further filling element 7'. These L-shaped gaps 72 and 73 can be sealed using sealants, silicone or other components, with the width of the gaps 72 and 73 being in a range between 4 mm and 30 mm, in particular 8 mm and 15 mm . This minimizes the interference with the field of view through the small gaps 72 and 73.

In figure 4 a corner area of the bolt 3 is shown, which is mitred on the side facing away from the post 2 . The bolt 3 is designed as a hollow profile, as shown in figure 3 is shown, and in a hollow chamber of the bolt 3, a corner connector 30 is inserted. The corner connector 30 comprises a section protruding from the bar 3, which is inserted into a further bar 6, which has the same cross-sectional geometry as the bar 3 and is arranged at an angle thereto, as is shown in FIG figure 5 is shown. The bolt 3 and the further bolt 6 are thus fixed to one another via the corner connector 30 .

In figure 5 a non-inventive embodiment of a holding element 11 is shown, which is made as an angle. The holding element 11 comprises a first leg 12 which is fixed at the end to the bolt 3, for example screwed into a central groove on the bolt 3 or is fixed in a clamping manner. The holding element 11 comprises a second leg 13 which protrudes at an angle from the first leg 12 and which encompasses a vertical end edge in the upper corner region of the filling element 7 . The filling element 7 can thus be supported on the vertical leg 13, in particular via the interposition of spacers made of a plastic or softer material, in order to avoid damage to the insulating glass panes. A corresponding angular holding element is also provided on the further bolt 6 in the corner area, which grips around a filling element 7 with a leg 12 on the further bolt 6 and a vertical leg 13 .

With a corner solution designed in this way, a self-supporting corner solution without tension elements 8 can be implemented.

In figure 6 a first panel 7 and another panel 7' are mounted at the corner portion. The holding element 11, which is not according to the invention, engages around a vertical end edge of the filling element 7, while a second holding element 11, which is not according to the invention, engages over a vertical holding edge of the further filling element 7'. The further filling element 7' is designed as stepped glass and has an outer glass pane 70 which protrudes at the edge ( figure 3 ) and thus also the vertical legs 13 of the two holding elements 11 are covered. In order to fix the filling elements 7 and 7′ on the bolt and the further bolt 6, outer pressure strips 15 are also provided, which clamp the filling elements 7 and 7′ on the bolt 3 and the further bolt 6 by means of sealing elements. The pressure strips 15 can extend into the corner area and can be fixed by fastening means, in particular to protruding bolts of the holding elements 11 . Alternatively, the filling elements 7, 7 'are attached to each other in the vertical and / or horizontal edge region with appropriate sealants and adhesives, so that z. B. a structural glazing or all-glass facade is created.

In the Figures 7A and 7B 1 is shown a first arrangement of a corner portion of the mullion and transom construction provided on a lower floor 4 and an upper floor 5. FIG. The floor slabs 4 and 5 are supported by building posts 25, with the floor slabs 4 and 5 extending into the corner area of the facade construction, so that in the area of the floor slabs 4 and 5 there is no vertical passage. The bars 3 can thus also be fixed to the floor slabs 4 and 5. Only bars 3 are provided in the area of floor slabs 4 and 5, so that the filling elements are designed floor-to-ceiling.

In the Figures 8A and 8B the post and beam construction is similar to that of figure 7 formed, however, a bar 3 is also provided in a parapet area, for example at a height between 80 cm and 1.20 m, which forms a parapet bar and can optionally also absorb tensile loads or weight loads of a filling element.

Ansonsten entspricht die Konstruktion der Figur 7.In the Figures 9A and 9B a facade construction is shown in which the floor slabs 4 and 5 have a recess 26 in a corner area, so that a vertical passage is formed between the individual floors. Otherwise the construction corresponds to figure 7 .

In figure 10 Another exemplary embodiment is shown, in which instead of the two building posts 25 for supporting the floor slabs 4 and 5, a building post 28 with a circular cross section is provided in the corner area. The floor 5 is provided in the corner area with a recess 27 which forms a rounded corner of the floor, while the facade construction with the bars 3 and the other bars 6 extends at right angles.

The exemplary embodiments Figures 7 to 10 only show examples of installation situations that can also be combined or varied as desired.
