  • the advantages appear when after an interruption in the need for hot water there is again a need for hot tap water. If, during the standstill period, i.e. when no tapping of hot water occurs, hot water is still intermittently provided to the primary side the water volume which is housed within the mentioned trough spaces is held warm. This heated water volume will almost instantly come out from the heat exchanger when tapping is again started and the volume is so adapted that the heat exchanger reaches continuous operational performance before the water which is stored in advance is used up.
  • the construction shows the definitive advantaged that the present trough-shaped sections 19, in spite of the holes 21 , are continuous, i.e. the sections may be said to be equipped with bottoms of a certain form which to a high degree contributes to the strength of the plates and the core of plates. For this reason a thinner material may be used in the plates with the same demand for strength and stability than had otherwise been the case.
  • the bottoms also contribute to an excellent heat transfer into or out from the mentioned trough spaces, which are sealed off against all fluids except, in the present case, tap water to be heated

Abstract

L'invention concerne un échangeur à plaques destiné à au moins deux fluides d'échange thermique. Cet échangeur à plaques est assemblé en permanence et comprend au moins un paquet de plusieurs plaques d'échange thermique (2a, 2b), et au moins deux plaques terminales (3, 4), les plaques (2a, 2b) formant entre elles des interstices. Chaque plaque (2a, 2b) est pourvue d'au moins une ondulation et d'au moins quatre trous (9, 10, 13, 14) appartenant à un canal d'entrée (11) et à un canal de sortie (12) traversant le paquet de plaques et destinés à chacun des fluides. Les canaux d'entrée (11) et les canaux de sortie (12) respectivement destinés à un premier fluide et à un deuxième fluide sont en communication fluidique respectivement avec un premier (17) et un deuxième (19) ensemble d'interstices entre plaques. Au moins deux de ces plaques (2a, 2b), adjacentes dans le présent paquet de plaques, sont respectivement dotées d'au moins une section en auge (19). Chacune de ces sections créée en coopération avec la plaque adjacente (2a, 2b) un espace qui est étanche à tous les fluides à l'exception du deuxième fluide, constitue une partie de la plaque respective (2a, 2b) de telle façon que ladite partie est dépourvue de trous (9, 10, 13, 14) et est pourvue d'un bord de type flasque (22) s'étendant sur toute la circonférence de la section en auge (19).
