Abstract

L'invention concerne un essieu monté (1) destiné à être utilisé avec des écartements différents. Les roues rotatives (2) sont fixées au moyen de deux dents (8 et 11) dans des positions d'écartement standard et d'écartement large ainsi que dans des positions d'écartement étroit dans lesquelles une seule dent supérieure (11) est sollicitée. L'objet de l'invention comprend aussi un multiplicateur (23) destiné à ajuster l'essieu monté aux écartements qui ne présentent qu'une faible différence; il est actionné par le biais d'une goulotte (31) dans le dispositif de transformation (30) qui permet de doubler le nombre des écartements avec lesquels on peut l'utiliser. Des ressorts de verrouillage (34) comprimés, disposés dans leur partie supérieure entre le châssis de bogie (29) et dans leur partie inférieure sur la boîte d'essieu (9), assurent une sécurité absolue du verrouillage des dents principales (8 et 11) ainsi que du multiplicateur (23), même en cas d'absence de la suspension à ressort (32) de la boîte d'essieu. On peut réaliser cette structure selon des combinaisons différentes, principalement en fonction du nombre des écartements avec lesquels on veut l'utiliser.
