Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage électromagnétique comprenant un panneau qui comporte un certain nombre de pixels sensiblement carrés, en deux parties, pourvus chacun d'un volet basculant monté de manière rotative, bistable et asymétrique par rapport à son axe de rotation, ledit volet recouvrant, dans chacune de ses deux positions stables, une des deux parties des surfaces de panneau dans la zone du pixel. La face du volet basculant, orientée vers la face avant du panneau et la partie du panneau, recouverte dans cette position par le volet basculant, sont colorées avec une première couleur dans la zone du pixel, et l'autre face du volet basculant ainsi que l'autre partie du panneau dans la zone du pixel sont colorées avec une deuxième couleur. Un aimant permanent est placé à proximité de l'axe de rotation sur chaque volet basculant. Le déplacement du volet basculant pour passer d'une première position à une deuxième position s'effectue par l'intermédiaire d'un électro-aimant associé au pixel et présentant un corps de bobine et un noyau. Le panneau du dispositif d'affichage est relié avec un panneau de base orienté vers sa face arrière, et présente au moins une ouverture dans une partie de chaque pixel. Une broche orientée vers l'ouverture et placée sur le panneau de base est associée à chaque ouverture, ladite broche comportant, sur sa face orientée vers le panneau, un évidement dans lequel est introduite une diode électroluminescente.
