Definitions
- the invention relates to an article security element for acustomagnetic security systems, with an assembly arranged in a housing and comprising at least one magnetic element and a metal plate.
- Such goods security elements also called AM labels, which can be used in so-called acustomagnetic systems using acustomagnetic technology, are known per se and are used extensively. They serve to identify goods on which such labels are applied or in which such labels are incorporated.
- AM labels consist of a plastic housing, a metal plate and a magnetic plate.
- the magnetic plate has a north-south polarity and the metal plate is positioned at a precisely defined distance from it.
- the dimensions of the two plates are also precisely specified. The tolerances are in the range of tenths of a millimeter.
- Acustomagnetic system locks consisting of transmitter and receiver units, detect the resonance at a frequency of about 58 kHz of such labels and trigger.
- large alternating currents are generated by large copper coils, which erase the north-south pole structure located on the magnetic stripe.
- the acustomagnetic system locks no longer respond.
- such labels can also be manipulated very easily. This is done, for example, by deliberate deactivation.
- the present invention is based on the above.
- the prior art is based on the object of providing an article security element which largely prevents manipulation without increasing the structural shape.
- the invention further develops a security device of the generic type in that it cannot be deactivated, that is to say it is designed to be permanently activated.
- this object is achieved in that flexible magnetic film is accommodated in the label housing in different pole orientations, so that the standard magnetic plate can be dispensed with. It has surprisingly been found that flexible magnetic strips, one with a north pole orientation and one with a south pole orientation, arranged on opposite sides of the label, can be adjusted together with the metal plate to a frequency of approximately 58 kHz. The dimensions of the magnetic strips and the distance from the metal plate are essential for this. It has turned out to be particularly advantageous to have a magnetic film strip approximately 1.4 mm high, approximately 1.5 cm long and a width of approximately 2 mm. These strips are placed on diagonally opposite sides of the label. It has surprisingly been found that such labels can no longer be deactivated with conventional deactivation units.
- Such permanently activated labels are therefore particularly suitable for systems in which the security element remains within a security area.
- Special fuse housings so-called safers, can therefore be provided with labels according to the invention, so that the safer labels can no longer be manipulated. This results in increased security.
- the designs are not enlarged, but at most miniaturizations are possible. The economic manufacturing effort remains low.
- Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a security device.
- Fig. 2 is a plan view of the element of Figure 1 and
- FIG. 3 shows an end view of the element according to FIG. 1.
- FIG. 1 to 3 show an exemplary embodiment of an article security element 1.
- This consists of a carrier 2 in which the metal plate 3, for example so-called metal glass, is inserted.
- the carrier 2 has a cross section with rounded longitudinal edges.
- a frame 4 is positioned on a surface of the carrier, preferably as an assembly aid.
- Magnets 5 and 6 are arranged diagonally opposite one another. These are the strips of a flexible film with appropriate polarization.
- the dimensions of the article security element 1 essentially correspond to the dimensions of the article security element known per se, so that these can be replaced without further notice, without the need for new devices.
- the exemplary embodiment described serves for explanation and is not restrictive.
