Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte au traitement de l'eau et de boissons par iode, et peut être utilisée dans l'iodation de boissons préparées à base d'eau potable, ainsi que dans la production d'eaux minérales ayant une concentration correspondante en iode. A cette fin, ce procédé consiste à traiter préalablement l'eau potable (élimination des additifs mécaniques), à la mélanger à un ou plusieurs concentrés iodés et, enfin, à filtrer la solution avant de la verser dans un conteneur pour la vente. Ce procédé d'iodation d'eau et de boissons fait appel à un dispositif d'enrichissement en iode dans lequel on introduit un ou plusieurs concentrés iodés naturels ou artificiels jusqu'à ce que la concentration en iode du produit fini se trouve dans une plage qui va de 50 à 2500 νg/dm3, la concentration en cuivre ne dépassant pas 1000 νg/dm3. La simplicité de cette technique permet d'utiliser ce procédé à grande échelle lors de l'iodation d'eaux minérales et de la production de diverses boissons, et permet également d'utiliser des concentrés iodés naturels ou artificiels, ou des mélanges de ces derniers.
