Abstract

Es wird eine keramische Glühstiftkerze vorgeschlagen, bei welcher ein metallischer rohrförmiger Halter an seinem brennraumseitigen Ende eine keramische U-förmige Heizvorrichtung freitragend hält und auf der brennraumfernen Seite einen Anschlussbolzen zum Anlegen einer Spannung an die keramische Heizvorrichtung aufweist. Die keramische Heizvorrichtung hat an ihrem vom Halter umfassten Ende einen Abschnitt grössten Durchmessers und ist mit einer isolierenden Schicht überzogen, welche Aussparungen für eine elektrische Kontaktierung hat. Eine Aussparung ist an der brennraumfernen Stirnseite der keramischen Heizvorrichtung und eine zweite Aussparung an der Aussenwand der keramischen Heizvorrichtung vorgesehen. Zwischen der Aussenwand der keramischen Heizvorrichtung und der Innenwand des Halters ist eine elektrisch leitende Dichtmasse angeordnet.
