It was known that welded or soldered connections are made because a threaded connection between a pipe in the peripheral surface of a larger pipe with a circular cross section or equivalent cross section is not easily sealed because there are no flat sealing surfaces. Known pipes for such pipe connections are therefore made extremely thick-walled so that sealing surfaces can be machined or machined; In addition, expensive brass is generally used as the pipe material. Therefore, the invention provides that a thin-walled pipe in the region of a branch, compared to the said pipes, is permanently deformed, flattened and thus a flat connection point for a branch pipe is created.
