Pour ce faire, on utilise un coffrage (1), en forme de cuve, réalisé dans un matériau stable et indéformable. Ce coffrage (1) comprend une paroi antérieure (2) formant avec la paroi fond (3) un angle correspondant à l'angle d'inclinaison du talus ou de la levée de terre. La paroi fond (3) mentionnée est pourvue d'un évidement (4) s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal jusqu'à environ la moitié du coffrage (1) et d'une nervure de guidage (5) s'élevant sur la paroi fond (3) de façon au moins approximativement perpendiculaire sur toute la longueur du coffrage (1) et faisant office de terminaison latérale de la paroi fond (3).
