Definitions

  • TITLE form with integrated card as well as carrier and multilayer material for the production of such a form
  • the present invention relates to a form with an integrated, removable card according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Cards of this type are usually referred to as butterfly cards because of the need to fold up and glue together their several parts when they are removed.
  • the invention further relates to carrier and multilayer materials for such forms.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a form with a removable card of the type mentioned, which avoids the aforementioned disadvantages.
  • the handling should be simple and obvious, should not be necessary punch bars, the card should be easy to remove, but should be kept safely in the form level until it is removed.
  • the invention is also intended to provide suitable multilayer materials for the production of such a form.
  • the layer structure in the region of the carrier material is uniform, that the carrier material comprises a glue layer and a carrier layer from the form, so that the carrier material in the region of the glue layer is separable is that the front part is released in a non-tacky manner on the back, that the at least one die-cut is carried out from the front of the form, at least in sections, but also to a maximum of the glue layer, and that the parts mentioned are turned in place by at least one part or can be glued together in only one direction by folding them together.
  • Claim 10 relates to a carrier material and Claim 11 to a fully integrated multilayer material for the production of the forms according to Claims 1-9.
  • FIG. 1 shows a sectional representation (section I-I in FIG. 2a) of a first embodiment of a form with an integrated card which can be labeled on both sides before being removed;

  • FIG. 8 under a) to e) are views of the front of the form from FIG. 7 in the area of the integrated card in the various stages of its removal from the form.
  • FIG. la There 1 denotes a form sheet. This consists e.g. made of paper, on which any information, a pattern or the like can be printed.
  • a multi-layer carrier material is designated. It comprises a backing layer 21, a glue layer 22, a cover layer 23, a first permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 24, a first release layer 25, a base layer 26, a second release layer 27 and a second permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 28.
  • the base material 2 is by means of the second pressure-sensitive layer 28 glued to the back of the form, covering two areas B1 and B2. The two areas B1 and B2 adjoin one another at an (imaginary) boundary line G.
  • the additional card A is detached from the area B2.
  • the separation takes place here because of the aforementioned differentiation of the adhesive values between the first separating layer 25 and the first permanent adhesive layer 24.
  • the permanent adhesive layer 24 is the uppermost layer of the card part K2 exposed.
  • the form is folded along the boundary line G and the two areas B1 and B2 are aligned, which is facilitated by the punch S3.
  • the layers 28 and 27 separate in the area B1 and the card part K1 remains in the area B2 on the card part K2.
  • This transfer of the car part Kl is shown schematically in Fig. 2c).
  • the fact that during the unfolding the separation takes place between the layers 27 and 28 that are more strongly adhering to one another and not between the layers 24 and 25 that are more weakly adhering to one another is due to the smaller punching depth in the region B1.
  • a plastic film for example a polyethylene film, is preferably used as the material for the cover layer 23.
  • the card K is then plasticized on both sides and waterproof. If a transparent film is used, the imprint or lettering of the surface of the card part below is Kl or its two halves Kll and K12 recognizable. This surface is on the form before the card K is removed and can therefore be individually labeled. One can also say that the card K can be labeled on both sides. After removing the card, the label is sealed under the top layer.
  • the glue of the glue layer 22 is preferably a so-called peel glue, which can be removed easily and without residue from the cover layer 23, but nevertheless holds the card K or its parts sufficiently firmly in the form. It is preferably further adjusted so that it is no longer (essentially) sticky after the card has been removed.
  • the glue layer 22 could also be designed such that it adheres to the cover layer 23, goes along with it when the card is removed and detaches from the carrier layer 21. In this case, it is in any case necessary that the glue layer 22 no longer (essentially) sticks after the card has been removed. In this case, the glue layer 22 is preferably further designed such that it can be labeled on the card that has been removed. In combination with a polyester film for the cover layer 23, these properties can be e.g. with a shell with the following composition in% by weight:
  • the different adhesive values of the peeling glue on the cover layer 23 on the one hand and the carrier layer 21 on the other hand can be achieved by different pretreatment of the adjacent surfaces of these layers e.g. by plasma, corona or flame treatment.
  • a differentiated adhesive effect can also be achieved using different materials. For example, a shell in the above composition adheres less strongly to a polypropylene film than to a polyester film.
  • the card A can advantageously be used as a self-adhesive label.
  • the card A by folding and gluing their two halves All and A12, another non-sticky card can be made.
  • Paper or plastic film can be used as the material for the carrier layer 21 and the carrier layer 26.
  • the separating layers 25 and 27 are in particular silicone layers.
  • the carrier material 2 can be prefabricated as a whole, preferably as continuous material, rolled up on itself and then dispensed onto the form material 1, for example in individual pieces that may be smaller than the form format.
  • the permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 28 can in this case be applied wet or already integrated in the carrier material 2. There- with this then still being able to be rolled up on itself, the backing layer 21 must be provided on the back with an additional separating coating or the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 28 must be covered with an additional separating layer material (for example a silicone paper) that occurs as waste when dispensing.
  • the form according to the invention can advantageously also be produced from a prefabricated multilayer material in endless form, which in addition to the carrier material also already includes the form material 1 and in which the form and carrier material overlap over the entire surface.
  • the actual form production is limited to punching and possibly printing, which can be carried out very efficiently in one pass through the prefabricated endless web. Cutting and dispensing of individual pieces is no longer necessary, as is any wet coating during form production.
  • the carrier layer preferably also consists of a paper material. The resulting forms have a uniform thickness over their entire area, which is of considerable advantage in their further processing, particularly in single-sheet prints.
  • a multilayer material is used which, compared to the one described above, only has layers 1 and 21-25, whereas layers 26-28 are absent. The latter would not interfere functionally, but are also not required.

  • the finished card K can be removed, the layers 22 and 23 separating from one another, as was also the case with the folding mentioned above.

Finally, the finished card K can be removed, the separation now taking place between the layers 22 and 29, which means that the glue layer 22 goes with the card K. In contrast to the examples described above, the glue layer 22 must not lose its stickiness when detached. Through the glue layer 22, the card can be glued as a vignette behind a glass pane. One on. the original front side of the lettering (ABC) applied in the die cut A is visible through the glass pane and the glue layer 22.

  • Such films are known as hologram films. The use of such a film makes it difficult to reproduce the card and is an effective security feature.
