Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de déshydratation de mélanges liquides de matières fibreuses, notamment de suspensions de cellulose. Selon ce procédé, une bande de matériau est déshydratée entre deux filtres ou feutres (2,3). La partie de pression (8) est constituée d'au moins deux unités de pression (9, 10 ou 11, 12), qui comprennent respectivement deux rouleaux de pression (9', 9', 10', 10', 11', 11', 12', 12') entre lesquels on fait passer la bande de matériau et les filtres ou feutres (2, 3) et qui sont reliés au cadre (14, 15) du dispositif de déshydratation 1. L'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'alternativement un rouleau de pression (9' ou 11') d'une première unité de pression (9 ou 11) est connecté, de façon articulée, au cadre supérieur (14) et un rouleau de pression (10' ou 12') de l'unité de pression suivante (10 ou 12) est connecté, de façon articulée, au cadre inférieur (15) et en ce que la pression nécessaire est appliquée au moyen d'un dispositif de transmission de puissance (171, 172, 173, 174, 176).
