Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bumper for a road vehicle, with a support part which can be fastened to the rear or front side of the body, and a support connected to the support part and encompassing the rear or front part of the vehicle in a substantially U-shaped manner, one extending in the vehicle transverse direction Transverse web and two flexible-elastic cladding on the side parts of the body and extending to the wheel arches, on the visible side of which a circumferential protective strip is arranged, and whose visible surface is aligned with the adjacent visible surface of the body and via a narrow joint adjoins this.
