Abstract

Le dispositif de l'invention destiné au brasage à l'aide d'un faisceau lumineux comprend un réflecteur, une lampe à décharge gazeuse montée au niveau du foyer et le long de l'axe du réflecteur, une poignée fixée au réflecteur, des conducteurs d'alimentation en courant passant à travers la poignée et connectés à la lampe, un dispositif de mise en marche de la lampe monté à l'extérieur du réflecteur, ainsi qu'un système de commutation nécessaire au fonctionnement du dispositif de mise en marche. Le système de commutation comprend au moins un coupe-circuit, un contact métallique maintenu dans un écran protecteur, ainsi qu'un conducteur souple reliant la lampe au contact métallique. Lorsque la lampe est mise en marche, le coupe-circuit déconnecte un des conducteurs d'alimentation en courant passant dans la poignée. La tension de la lampe est ensuite appliquée à la lampe par l'intermédiaire d'une électrode à ressort du dispositif de mise en marche, le contact métallique ainsi que le conducteur souple d'alimentation en courant. Avec un système de mise en marche de ce type, la haute tension ne passe pas à travers la poignée, assurant ainsi un fonctionnement sans danger du dispositif pendant le processus de mise en marche ou lorsque l'article à braser est chauffé.
