Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for treating hair, in particular for generating and correcting perms.
  • Such devices are intended both for use in hairdressing salons and for do-it-yourself home use.
  • Perms are usually produced in such a way that the hair is wound on mostly rotationally symmetrical hair curlers and then soaked in a reducing perm solution, which is left to act for a while. After usually 20 - 30 min. is rinsed with water and checked with indicator paper whether the neutralization is complete. Then the still wound hair is fixed with an oxidizing solution, which is also left to act for some time (approx. 20 min.). After the subsequent rinsing, the hair may be treated again with fixing solution and then styled.

Since the cartridge is installed in the winding mandrel, it cannot be changed during operation, i.e. while the mandrel is surrounded by coiled hair. Abstract
