Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cleaning device with a suction turbine for generating a suction air stream, with an electric motor driving it and forming a structural unit with it, with a housing accommodating the turbine and with a holder which fixes the turbine and the electric motor on the cleaning device in a soundproof manner .
  • Such a construction is known for example from DE-PS 703 638.
  • the object of the invention is to design a generic cleaning device in such a way that optimum sound insulation can be achieved when the device is in operation.
  • This object is achieved according to the invention in a cleaning device of the type described at the outset in that the holder is a sleeve made of a thermoset elastomer with a shore hardness between 30 and 60, in that it surrounds the turbine housing and on the outer wall of the housing at least in some areas that the turbine is arranged with the axis of rotation of the turbine running in the vertical direction in the cleaning device and that the sleeve encompasses the unit comprising the turbine and motor and carries it freely suspended on the cleaning device.
  • a sleeve designed in this way which can for example consist of rubber, leads to a multiple effect with regard to the avoidance of disturbing noises.
  • the unit consisting of engine and turbine is suspended from the cleaning device in such a way that there are no sound bridges to the device, the connection is only established via the sleeve made of the duroplastic elastomer material, via which sound transmission practically does not take place.
  • the turbine housing has a circular cylinder has a vertical vertical outer wall against which the cuff is in full contact.
  • Such a rotationally symmetrical arrangement is also advantageous for reasons of weight transfer in the cleaning device.
