Abstract

Le siège pour invalides décrit, conçu pour être utilisé avec un véhicule à moteur, comprend un bras de support en porte-à-faux portant le siège, ledit bras pouvant être monté sur le châssis afin de permettre un pivotement entre des positions soit à l'extérieur soit à l'intérieur du véhicule autour d'un axe sensiblement vertical situé près du pilier de porte dudit véhicule. Le bras de support en porte-à-faux est muni d'une partie coudée pour empêcher tout contact entre le bras et le pilier de porte lorsque le bras de support est dans la position à l'extérieur. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le bras de support peut se déplacer verticalement pour soulever le siège, permettant ainsi de le dégager du châssis du véhicule et/ou de régler la hauteur du siège par rapport au sol. De cette manière, la personne invalide peut s'installer dans le siège ou le quitter plus facilement dans la position à l'extérieur du véhicule.
