Abstract

Un procédé de régénération de réactifs alcalins d'attaque micrographique de l'aluminium permet de récupérer de l'hydroxyde d'aluminium. A cet effet, on transfère un réactif d'attaque micrographique contenant de l'hydroxyde alcalin, de l'aluminate et un complexant, ainsi que d'autres additifs, d'un bain d'attaque à une section de réaction formée d'au moins un réacteur, où l'aluminium est précipité sous forme d'hydroxyde d'aluminium. Le bain d'attaque a une température plus élevée que la section de réaction. Selon le procédé, la concentration en aluminate, en alcali et en gluconate, ainsi que le température du bain d'attaque d'une part et la chute de température entre le bain d'attaque et la section de réaction d'autre part sont ajustées de sorte que le réactif d'attaque micrographique dans le bain d'attaque soit sous-saturé ou sursaturé de manière métastable par rapport à la précipitation d'hydroxyde d'aluminium, mais soit sursaturé de manière instable dans la section de réaction. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
