Definitions
- the present invention relates to methods for the production of shoes with soles made of plastic injected in several layers, as well as devices for carrying out the methods.
- shoes with two-tone soles e.g. Consists of a first lower layer made of injected polyurethane, whereupon a second polyurethane layer with a different color and / or density than the first is pressed on using the injection molding process.
- the formation of two-tone soles in which the first layer consists of a preformed rubber insole, whereupon a polyurethane layer is pressed on in the spraying process.
- Italian patent 22202 A / 88 dated 05.10.1988 relates to a press mold for producing tricolor soles with a rubber insole, whereupon a first polyurethane layer of a different color and then a second polyurethane layer are pressed on, which connects the sole thus produced to the upper, which is usually made of leather.
- the rubber insole is designed with a small rib that protrudes from those parts that are to come into contact with the different colored layer.
- the mold has at least along a part of the side wall a groove in which the rib of the rubber insole engages. Such an arrangement is necessary in order to prevent
- the object of the invention is to produce a sole made of plastic in three different colors and / or different densities, with side inserts and / or inserts on the bottom of the sole, so that the need for time-consuming manual interventions in a simple manner economical way, as well as in the manufacture of a plastic sole in four layers of different colors and / or densities, with a rubber insole, a colored side. Inlay, a lower insert and a last layer, which connects the sole and the shaft.
- this device has a limitation insofar as it is not possible to produce colored side inserts in the upper layer, ie in the layer that connects the sole to the generally leather upper of the shoe.
- this requirement represents a new market trend.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of producing a sole made of plastic with three or four layers of different coloring and / or density, two of which are sprayed directly onto the shaft, which thus has a colored side insert in the upper layer of the sole having.
- the invention is based on the still further object, a device for producing multilayer soles on a shaft, with a last for receiving the shaft, a displaceable base stamp, movable side moldings enclosing the last and with one or more instead of last to create counter-punches which can be used in the mold, the counter-punches with their lower mold half for spraying the outsole lying below the lower limit of the midsole layer adjoining the outsole and above the upper boundary of the intermediate layer adjoining the outsole and the bottom stamp Can be locked in several positions corresponding to the outsole and / or midsole thickness, with which the fully automatic spraying of three or more soles is possible in succession.
- the device according to the invention is preferably intended to make it possible to produce any desired sole contour in the parting plane of the materials.
- a movable intermediate frame is arranged adjacent to the side molded parts and has a collar which, depending on the position of the base stamp and the counter stamp, engages around the counter stamp when the outsole is sprayed or between the counter stamp and the base stamp at Injection of the first midsole is all around as a side molding.
- RSAT is under the side moldings.
- a fully automatic spraying is advantageously possible with this device without being restricted to a two-layer sole structure during spraying, as in the previously treated devices or methods.
- Each of the soles can not only be colored as desired, but can also be contoured as desired if, instead of the one counter-stamp, different counter-stamps are provided for spraying the respective sole, each of which can be lowered and / or pivoted in the direction of the base stamp are interchangeable after each spraying process.
- the distance of the collar of the intermediate frame from the opposite base stamp surface on the one hand and / or from the side molded parts when the second midsole is injected on the other hand is designed as a desired shoot; it is preferably at most 0.5 mm.
- the expulsion can further be minimized in that the opposing surfaces of the collar of the intermediate frame and the side molded parts and / or of the base stamp are non-linear in cross-section, preferably stepped. This noticeably increases the friction that the expulsion experiences.
- the side moldings and / or the intermediate frame can preferably be locked when sprayed by the temperature control frame, preferably via a toggle lever lock.
- the intermediate frame itself can be pivoted pneumatically or hydraulically and / or resiliently.
- the injection channels are provided for spraying the midsole in the intermediate frame or in the side moldings, where one can injection against the outsole through one or more injection channels of the base stamp.

- FIG. 25 is a partial cross-sectional view of the holder of the side mold parts and the intermediate frame of the mold according to FIGS. 21 to 23.
- the sole which is produced according to a first embodiment of the device on which this invention is based, consists of three different layers S1, S2 and S3, which are represented by different geometric grids .
- a shaft T which is normally made of leather, is attached to the last layer S3. All three layers are made of plastic, preferably polyurethane.
- the layer S1 or lower layer functions as an insole, that the layer S2 forms a lateral and lower insert in the insole, while the layer S3 establishes the connection between the sole and the shaft T.
- the layer S1 has a ridge Bl along the outer periphery; layer S2 has a lower ridge B2a and an upper ridge B2b; layer S3 has a ridge B3.
- the function of the gray formations is to enable the mold to be pulled out of the oily surface layer which forms during the polymerization of the polyurethane; otherwise, the different layers may not adhere properly and may peel off over time.
- FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 show the device according to a first embodiment of the present invention, which is used to produce a sole of the type shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
- a floor 1 which has an upper cavity which is designed in a suitable manner for pressing the first or lower layer S1.
- a blind mold or plate 2 comes to rest on the floor 1, leaving a small interspace 3 between the plate 2 and the floor 1 and the upper cavity of the latter.
- the plate 2 in the central region can contain an insert 4 which is normally made of rubber, in order to avoid that the injected polyurethane completely fills the upper cavity of the base 1, so that the necessary space for a central one is required Insert remains.
- the bottom 1 with the plate 2 in place is then enclosed by two half rings 5 which are firmly connected to the press machine.
- the first polyurethane layer S1 is injected by means of an injection device (not shown in the figure), as a result of which the free volume between the bottom 1 and the plate 2 is filled.
- the intermediate space 3 is filled with polyurethane, which creates the ridge B1.
- the half rings 5 are opened and removed, and the plate 2 is raised.
- the second layer S2 is then sprayed (FIG. 6).
- the half rings 5 are reattached in such a way that they enclose the base 1, which has now been raised in relation to the position from FIG. 5, up to the peripheral edge at the stop with the lower edge of the half rings 5. There is still a space 6 between them the half rings 5 and the bottom 1.
- a second blind mold or plate is lowered, which is partially inserted between the half rings 5.
- the side edges of the plate 7 rest on the top of the half rings 5, so that a space 8 is formed in the area closest to the edges.
- the plate 7 is shown without rubber inserts of the type used for the plate 2 in order to leave space for the lower insert in the layer S1; In this case, layer S2 itself forms the lower insert
- REPLACEMENT LEAF shown in Figure 1.
- the plate 7 with a rubber insert and to implement a lower insert with the layer S3.
- the polyurethane fills the space 6 and forms the burr B2a and the space 8 for forming the burr B2b.
- the plate 7 is raised, while the half rings 5 remain in place, so as to repair the side edges of the layer S2.
- FIG. 7 we now refer to FIG. 7 and it is noticed how a mold 9 is lowered, to which the shaft T is already attached.
- Two rings 10 are then positioned on the sides of the mold 9, which come to rest on the half rings 5;
- the half rings 5 are provided in the upper part with a projection 11 with an oblique edge, while the rings 10 have a corresponding recess 12.
- the rings 10 are lowered from the press, the inclined wall of the recess 12 moves against the inclined wall of the projection 11 and the rings 10 are clamped on the mold 9.
- FIG. 8 A detailed view of the support block of the rings 10 and the shape 9 is contained in FIG. 8.
- a support plate 14 which is connected to a pivot described below, to which the mold 9 is attached.
- the plate 14 has two arms 15 which can rotate about an axis which coincides with the side edge in question
- REPLACEMENT LEAF Plate 14 covers. There is an arm 10 at the bottom of each arm 15. The reason why there must be a possibility of removing the rings 10 from the form 9 is because the shaft T is attached to the form 9 and the subsequent carding (cardaggio) to enable. Carding is a process with the aid of which a suitable tool is used to remove the upper layer along the outer edge of the leather shaft in order to then allow the polyurethane layer to be glued.
- a second embodiment of the present invention provides the possibility of producing soles in four colors, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.
- the sole shown consists of a preformed rubber insole S with the ridge B, on which three layers S4, S5 and S6 of polyurethane are pressed, the ridges Bla 'and Blb' (layer S4), B5 (layer S6) along the outer periphery. exhibit.
- the device used to manufacture this sole is shown in FIGS. 9, 10 and 11.
- FIG. 9 shows a floor 21, in which a rubber insole S is seated. It is important to note that the insole S - in contrast to the design according to Italian patent no. 22202 A / 88 - has no lateral sealing rib which would have to be inserted into a corresponding groove in the bottom 21, because the lateral edge of the upper cavity is at the same height as the peripheral edge of the insole. The insertion of the insole S, which thus has only a simple ridge B along the entire periphery, into the base 21 is thus simple and quick.
- REPLACEMENT LEAF lowers, which comes to rest on the insole S inserted in the floor 21.
- the peripheral edge of the plate 24, identical to the plate 2 from FIG. 5, rests on the surface of the half rings 22, except in the vicinity of the edge itself, where a space 25 is present.
- the plate 24 has a rubber insert G in order to avoid that the polyurethane completely fills the middle part of the insole S.
- the polyurethane is thus injected through a first spraying device (not shown in the figure) and forms the layer S4 with the ridge Bla 'in the intermediate space 23 and the ridge Blb' between the intermediate space 25.
- a second plate 26 is lowered (FIG. 10) in order to spray the lower insert, represented by the layer S5, with the ridge B2 (this is done with the aid of a second spraying device, which is not shown in the figure).
- FIG. 11 shows the pressing of the third and last layer S6, which connects the sole to the shaft T.
- the polyurethane is injected with the aid of a third spray device, not shown in the figure.
- a mold 27, which is identical to the mold from FIG. 9, is brought into position with the corresponding shaft T2 attached, and then two rings 28 are lowered, which have a recess 29 with an inclined side wall.
- the recess 29 moves during the lowering of the rings 28 along a corresponding projection 30 which is attached along the outer edge of the half rings 22, so that the rings 28 block the mold 27 in its position.
- the inner peripheral edge of the rings 28 forms a further space 31, corresponding to the inner peripheral edge of the half rings 22 and above the ridge B3b.
- the gap 31 is covered by the ridge
- FIG. 9 The details of the support block of the rings 28 and the shape 27 are shown in FIG. 9. This block is the same as the block used to apply the rings 10 and the mold 9, and the components are given the same identification numbers.
- FIGS. 12 and 13 we now refer to FIGS. 12 and 13, and one notices here a frustoconical shaped carrier pin 40 with three flat surfaces on the outer periphery, which are offset by 120 ° in relation to one another.
- a mold or a blind mold or plate is connected to each of the three inclined surfaces thus formed, e.g. the plates 2 and 7 and the form 9, or else the plates 24 and 26 and the form 27.
- the pin 40 is connected to the press machine and can rotate freely about the axis, e.g. clockwise, while blocking can take place in any of four different positions (FIG. 14).
- the plate 2 or 24 In a first position, which is denoted by I and which corresponds to the spraying of the first layer S1 or S1 ', the plate 2 or 24 is positioned with the vertical axis downward. Following the spraying of the layer S1 or S1 ', the pin 40 is rotated by 60 ° to position II, so that the mold 9 or 27 is moved upwards with the vertical axis; while the pin 40 is in this position, the shaft T or T2 is attached to the mold 9 or 27 and the corresponding carding process (cardaggio). The pin 40 is then rotated by a further 60 ° to position III, so that the plate 7 or 26, still with a vertical axis, is lowered. The layer S2 or S9 is thus sprayed. Eventually
- the sole manufactured with the device according to this invention consists of three layers S4, S5, S6, as represented by different geometric grids.
- a preformed layer or insole S is also shown in the figures, which is normally made of rubber and forms the lower layer of the sole.
- the layer S4 is sprayed onto it, which allows the production of areas of different colors in the lower part of the sole.
- the insole S may or may not be present; if it is not used, the layer S4 also fills in the areas which the insole S occupies in FIGS. 15 and 16.
- FIG. 17 shows the device according to the present invention when the first layer S4 is sprayed.
- a bottom 27 is shown which has an upper cavity which is designed in a suitable manner for pressing the layer S4.
- the insole S may or may not be inserted into this cavity.
- a blind mold or plate is arranged above the base 27, which leaves a small space between
- REPLACEMENT LEAF leaves the periphery of the plate 28 and the bottom 27, which is filled with a polyurethane ridge.
- the purpose of the ridge is to facilitate removal of the oily layer that forms during the polymerization of the polyurethane.
- the plate 28 is provided with a rubber insert G in the middle part in order to keep a certain volume of polyurethane free, which is later filled with layer S or (S5) in order to produce a colored insert in the lower part of the sole.
- the bottom 27 is thus, while the plate 28 is in place, enclosed between two half rings 29 which are attached to a ring carrier 30 which is firmly connected to the press. Then the layer S4 is sprayed (with the aid of spraying devices, which are not shown in the figure), which has the ridge B5 along the peripheral edge; after the polymerization has taken place, the half rings 29 are opened and removed, and the plate 28 is raised.
- FIG. 18 shows the spraying process for the second layer S9.
- the base 27 is raised in relation to the position shown in FIG. 17 until it strikes with the peripheral edge on the peripheral edge of the lower surface of the half rings 29, which have now been repositioned so that the base 27 is closed.
- a second plate 32 is attached by hand over the two half rings 29, which rests laterally on a support 33, consisting of a pin 34 with an axis which runs parallel to the main axis of the mold 31, around which the plate 32 rotates so that positioning on the half rings 29 and subsequent removal is possible.
- the angle of rotation of the plate 32 is approximately equal to 180 °.
- the peripheral edge of the lower surface of the plate 32 rests on the upper peripheral edge of the half rings 29.
- a mold 31 is lowered, to which a shaft T1 is already attached.
- two rings 35 are arranged, which on the upper surface of the plate 32
- the plate 32 is provided along the periphery of the upper surface with a projection 36 with an inclined edge, while the rings 35 have a corresponding recess.
- the rings 35 are lowered from the press, the inclined wall of the recess in the rings 35 moves against the inclined wall of the projection 36, so that the rings 35 are clamped to the mold.
- the clamping of the plate 32 to the mold 31 is again ensured by a projection 37 which is attached along the periphery of the upper surface of the half rings 29 and has an inclined edge.
- the plate 32 is correspondingly provided with a recess along the periphery of the lower surface.
- the rings 35 are connected to arms 38 ', which can rotate freely about pins 39, which are provided along the side edge of a plate 40, which also fulfills the function of a support for the mold 31.
- the plate 40 is in turn connected to a pair of plates 41 in a manner which will be described in more detail below.
- Four screws 42 are arranged between the pair of plates 41 (see FIGS. 18 and 20) and are used to set the distance between the plates 41, and this process takes place at the beginning of the processing.
- the upper plate 41 is connected to a rotating mold carrier pin of known type which has the plate 28 at the end opposite the plate 41. It should be noted that the dimension designated Q in FIG. 18, which is the distance between the upper edge of the upper plate 41 and the lower edge of the half rings 29 is determined by the press and cannot be changed.
- the second polyurethane layer S5 is injected (by means of spraying devices which are not shown in the figure).
- This layer has a ridge B2 along the circumference.
- the layer S5 does not completely surround the shaft T, but rather runs only along part of the same, e.g. along the back part.
- the mold 31 and the rings 35 are lifted out of the press in order to enable the plate 32 to be rotated about the pin 34 and to be removed.
- FIG. 19 shows how the mold 31 with the layer S5 firmly connected to it and the rings 35 are lowered again until the rings 35 on the upper surface of the half rings 29 with the recess for receiving the projection 37 of the half rings 29 strike so that the rings 35 are blocked on the mold 31. There is a small space between the lower peripheral edge of the rings 35 and the upper edge of the half rings 29 for receiving the burr.
- the third polyurethane layer S6 is then sprayed, which, as can be seen from FIGS.
- the layer S1O has a ridge B5 along the periphery. In this way, the sole is completely formed.
- a bushing 48 is inserted, in which the piston 44 moves.
- a screw V is inserted, which is firmly connected to the lower plate 41. In this way, the pistons 44 are also firmly connected to the lower plate 41. The pistons slide out
- the method of operation of the fastening system between the plates 40 and 41 is as follows: when the mold 31 is lowered to spray the layer S4 (FIG. 18), the plate 32 compresses the spring 43 and the plate springs 55 are strongly compressed; in this way the mold 31 assumes an "upper” position, taking the plate 40 and thus also the arms 38 and the rings 35 with it. The plate 40 thus approaches the plates 41.
- the mold 31 is lowered in order to inject the layer S1O (FIG. 19) while the plate 32 is no longer present, the spring 43 and the plate springs 55 are compressed to a lesser extent than in the aforementioned case that the mold 31 is in a "lower" position, as are the arms 38 and the rings 35. The plate 40 is thus further away from the plates 41 than in the aforementioned position.
- the invention relates to a device for processing low viscosity materials such as polyurethane and such as higher-viscosity thermoplastics and thermal rubbers.
- the aim of the invention is to produce shoes with multi-part, in particular three-layer soles by injection molding in a fully automated manner and at the same time to request them from a shoe upper, the sole layers preferably being designed and shaped in different colors.
- the shoe to be produced consists of a separately manufactured shaft 56, for example a textile or leather shaft, and a multilayer sole, in particular of an outsole 57 and two midsoles 58, 59.
- the outsole 57 and the midsoles 58 and 59 are connected to one another.
- the midsole layers can have special shapes, for example, gallo lugs pulled up on the shaft 56 and pulled down on the outside up to approximately the running surface of the outsole layer 57 and preferably running all around, as well as shapes in which the midsoles have different cross sections are contoured.
- the device according to the invention essentially consists of an injection mold, which consists of a strip 60 for receiving the shaft 56, two side mold parts 61, which are preferably divided in the longitudinal center plane (only one side mold part is shown in each case in the drawing), intermediate frame parts 63 below, which in the In principle, additional side moldings are used, a base stamp 65 which can be moved in height between the intermediate frames 64 and a counter stamp 66 or 68 which enters the mold from above and which are used alternatively for spraying the first and second midsoles 58 and 59 "
- the respective opposing surfaces of the collar 64 of the intermediate frame 63 as well as of the base die 65 and the side molded parts can have a step 69, as shown in Fig. 24.
- the step 69 serves as a locking bevel (wedge) around the side frame parts to seal against the shaft.
- the distance a or b be as small as 0.5 mm (desired sprouting).
- the cavity to be filled with polyurethane or PVC is
- the outsole formed by the bottom stamp 65, the first counter-stamp 66 and the intermediate frame 63 When the first midsole 58 is injected, the outsole 57 serves as the lower boundary, the intermediate frame 63 as the lateral boundary and the second counter-punch 68 as the upper boundary of the mold cavity.
- the cavity for injection of the second midsole 59 is delimited by the shaft 56 on the one hand, the first midsole 58 on the other hand and laterally by the side molded parts 63.
- the intermediate frame 63 is divided, so that when the intermediate frame 70 is opened to a limited extent (approx.
- the collar of the intermediate frame 63 remains closed by the spring assembly 71. If, after lowering the side frame parts 62, the temperature control frame closes again, the intermediate frame 63 lies against the side frame in the area 62 and provides the necessary locking force.
- the side molded parts 62 are fastened to corresponding swivel arms 72, the double arrows 73 to 77 denoting the respective directions of movement of the parts concerned.
- the base stamp 65 which can be moved in the direction of the double arrow 75 at a distance from the opposite first counter stamp 66 which can be moved in the direction of the double arrow 73 and which corresponds to the thickness of the outsole 57 to be produced.
- the counter-punch 66 has a shoulder 67 which is encompassed all around by the collar 64 of the intermediate frame.
- the collar 64 prevents the counter-punch 67 from changing the distance to the counter-punch 65 during injection, while the base body of the intermediate frame 63 prevents the desired expulsion from occurring uncontrollably through the gap b extends out.
- the counter-die 65 can be injected into the enlarged mold cavity even after the counter-die 65 has been lowered, and the counter-die can then be raised again (argus closure).
- the intermediate frame 63 can be moved in the direction of the double arrow 72.
- FIG. 21 shows the end of the injection of the outsole 57.
- the intermediate frame 63 is pivoted sideways and the counter punch 66 is pivoted upward and replaced by the counter punch 68.
- the counter-punch 68 is lowered in the direction of the bottom punch 65 as far as the measure of the thickness of the midsole 58 is to be selected.
- the base ram 65 is raised before the spraying in such a way that it comes to rest on the underside of the collar 64, possibly with the release of a desired shoot.
- the counter-punch 68 is replaced by the last 60 with the shaft pulled open, and at the same time the side molded parts 61 are pivoted in the direction of the double arrow 76 or 77 in such a way that the sealing lip 63 comes into contact with the shaft 56 in a sealing manner .
