Definitions

  • the invention relates to a trigger device for automatic firearms for single and continuous fire with a trigger and a trigger rod movable by this, by means of which the catch pawl for the breech piece is actuated.
  • Trigger devices for the closure of automatic firearms with which either individual shots or series of shots can be fired as continuous fire, have become known in a wide variety of embodiments. Their main deficiency lies in the fact that they have a relatively complicated structural design and, above all, are therefore extremely sensitive to a wide variety of influences which give rise to malfunctions and the temporary uselessness of the weapon.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a trigger device which is as simple as possible, can be produced efficiently and is not susceptible to faults, which can be dismantled quickly and easily in the event of malfunctions and can be reassembled in a simple manner after replacement of damaged parts in order to mount the weapon in the shortest possible time to make it work again.
