Abstract

In a trigger mechanism for automatic fire arms with single-shot or continuous fire, a catch arranged below the breech block has a nose which engages with the breech block, and can pivot as a result of friction-type connection with a trigger rod which can be moved by the trigger. An interrupter arm arranged on the trigger rod projects upward against the breech block. In the single-shot position, the upper end of said arm projects into the path of motion of a part of the breech block and is depressed by the breech block in order to release the friction-type connection between the trigger rod and the catch. In the continuous fire position, said end is thrust out of the path of motion of the breech block by an eccentric which acts on the trigger rod.

Description

Abzugseinrichtung für automatische Feuerwaffen Trigger device for automatic firearms
The invention relates to a trigger device for automatic firearms for single and continuous fire with a trigger and a trigger rod movable by this, by means of which the catch pawl for the breech piece is actuated.
Trigger devices for the closure of automatic firearms, with which either individual shots or series of shots can be fired as continuous fire, have become known in a wide variety of embodiments. Their main deficiency lies in the fact that they have a relatively complicated structural design and, above all, are therefore extremely sensitive to a wide variety of influences which give rise to malfunctions and the temporary uselessness of the weapon.
The object of the invention is to provide a trigger device which is as simple as possible, can be produced efficiently and is not susceptible to faults, which can be dismantled quickly and easily in the event of malfunctions and can be reassembled in a simple manner after replacement of damaged parts in order to mount the weapon in the shortest possible time to make it work again.
Es zeigen:This object is achieved by the features specified in particular in patent claim 1. Further features of the trigger device designed according to the invention are based the subclaims and also from the following description of a preferred exemplary embodiment shown schematically in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht der Abzugseinrichtung in derjenigen Stellung, in welcher mit der Waffe Einzelfeuer abgegeben werden kann, undFig. 1 is a side view of the trigger device in the position in which single fire can be fired with the weapon, and
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht der Abzugseinrichtung nach Fig. 1 in derjenigen Stellung, die ein Dauer¬ feuer ermöglicht.FIG. 2 shows a side view of the trigger device according to FIG. 1 in the position which enables a continuous fire.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the trigger device 11 designed according to the invention has a catch pawl 13 which is essentially parallel to the horizontal slideway of the closure piece 12 and which is provided with an upwardly directed catch lug 14 which has a rear vertical flank 15 and has a front flank 16 which is inclined downwards to the front. The catch pawl 13 holds, as can be seen from FIG. 1, with its catch lug 14 • the locking piece 12 in its rear position by engaging in a groove 17, the rear edge of which has a vertical latching or stop surface 18, which on the vertical flank 15 of the catch 14 is present. The catch pawl 13 is pivotally mounted about the bearing pin 19 and is acted upon by a compression spring 20 which presses the rear end of the catch pawl 13 upwards against the closure piece 12. The catch pawl 13 is designed as an angle lever. The. Leg 22, which is arranged at right angles to the horizontal leg 21, projects vertically downward from the bearing point around the bearing pin 19 and has a cutout 23 in at its lower end which protrudes the front end 24 of the horizontal trigger rod 25, which is essentially parallel to the leg 21 of the catch pawl 13. The trigger rod 25 is connected at its rear end 26 by a hinge pin 27 to the upper end 28 of the trigger 30 pivotally mounted about the fixed journal 29. A pull spring 31, which acts, for example, on the rear end 26, acts on the trigger rod 25 and continuously pulls the trigger rod 25 backwards; a compression spring can also be provided instead of a tension spring.
The trigger rod 25 has in its front area an upwardly projecting against the locking piece 12 interrupter arm 32, the upper end 33 is rounded and engages in the groove 17 on the underside of the locking piece 12 and lies in the movement path of the stop surface 18 on the locking piece 12. A spring 34 which acts on the trigger rod 25 and pushes it upward is arranged approximately below the interrupter arm 32. The front end 24 of the trigger rod 25, which engages in the cutout 23 of the vertical leg 22 of the catch pawl 13, is tapered in height, so that an upper stop shoulder 35 and a lower stop shoulder 36 are formed, which in the usual position of the trigger rod 25 Above the cutout 23 or in the lower position of the trigger rod 25 lie against the rear surface 37 of the leg 22 of the catch pawl 13 projecting downwards.
Above the trigger rod 25 there is an eccentric 38 which can be pivoted through 90 ° by a selection lever 39 located on the outside of the weapon. In the position shown in Fig. 1, the trigger rod 25 is present the flattened section 40 of the eccentric 38, whereby the trigger rod 25 can assume the upper position shown in FIG. 1, in which the upper stop shoulder 35 bears against the rear 37 of the leg 22 of the catch pawl 13 above the cutout 23.
When the trigger 30 is actuated, it is pivoted about the bearing pin 29, as a result of which the trigger rod 25 is moved forward, i.e. in the drawing on the far left. The leg 22 of the catch pawl 13 is pivoted to the left and the horizontal leg 21 downwards by means of the stop shoulder 35. As a result, the catch lug 14 slides off the latching or stop surface 18 and the closure piece 12 can be moved to the left by the forward spring, not shown, in order to bring the closure piece into the closed position. During this movement, the interrupter arm 32, the upper end 33 of which lies in the path of movement of the latching surface 18, is pressed down, as a result of which the stop shoulder 35 slides off the rear surface 37 of the vertical leg 22 of the catch pawl 13, as a result of which the previously non-positive Connection between this and the trigger rod 25 is canceled. The horizontal leg 21 of the catch pawl 13 is pressed upwards, so that after a shot is fired, the trigger from the catch nose 14 of the catch pawl 13 is held in the rear position again. Each time the trigger 30 is actuated, only a single shot can be fired.
If, however, continuous fire is to be fired with the weapon, a series of shots being fired automatically one after the other as long as the trigger 30 is actuated, the selection lever 39 must be in the continuous mode shown in FIG. fire position to pivot, whereby the eccentric 38 moves the trigger rod 25 in the lower position, in which the lower stop shoulder 36 rests against the rear 37 of the vertical leg 22 of the catch pawl 13 and the upstanding arm 32 is pulled down so far that the upper end of which lies outside or below the path of movement of the latching surface 18 of the closure piece 12. If the trigger 30 is actuated in such a setting of the selection lever 39, the trigger rod 25 pivots the horizontal leg 21 of the catch pawl 13 downward and holds it in the lower position, ie that the locking piece 12 then moves freely back and forth as long as the trigger remains pulled back. If the trigger 30 is released, the catch 14 comes back into the path of the closure piece 12 and holds it in its rear position.
The trigger device designed according to the invention has the advantage that it is extraordinarily simple and robust in its construction and practically consists of only four parts which are articulated to one another. In the event that parts of the trigger device still have to be replaced, this can be done very quickly in an extremely simple manner.
