Abstract

Le dispositif comprend un porte-empreinte (1) et une pâte (5) déformable, de préférence à base de silicone, disposée dans le porte-empreinte et apte à prendre la forme des dents et/ou de la mâchoire. Pour la fabrication d'une empreinte avec ce dispositif, une couche de pâte (5) est disposée dans la rainure (4) du porte-empreinte (1) de manière à recouvrir tout le fond de cette rainure (4) et à occuper une partie de la hauteur, puis l'armature (7) est placée sur cette couche et une nouvelle couche de pâte est disposée sur l'armature (7, 8) dans la rainure (4) de manière que l'armature soit à égale distance du fond et des côtés de la rainure (4) et soit enrobé dans la pâte (5). La pâte est ensuite mise en forme par pression des dents et/ou de la mâchoire dans la pâte, puis celle-ci est durcie et l'empreinte (3) est retirée du porte-empreinte (1, 2). Enfin, la pâte en surplus sur les bords de l'empreinte est enlevée par coupage.
