- each cylinder of an internal combustion engine for example, is transmitted to the operating shaft only by means of a lever arm which transmits the thrust of the engine piston by amplifying it in a notable proportion which depends on the relationship between them of the elements of this lever arm.
- the same heat engine has as many lever arms as it has pistons, said lever arms being contained in the casing modified for this purpose.
- this same power amplifier can be applied to any motor, including the internal combustion engines themselves being coupled outside their casing to the motor shaft itself, the power of which it increases without modifying the speed, as a reducer of any known type would do so.

Its point of applica tion 4 located at the other end of the lever 1, closer to the fulcrum 2 than is the articulation on the cylinder 3, is articulated on the head of the connecting rod 5 which actuates the engine crankshaft 6.
- a similar result can also be obtained by means of a lever with one arm 7 which bears on the motor frame at 8 in a mobile manner and is articulated at its other end at the foot of the connecting rod 9 of the piston. Its point of application 10 located between the two, closer to its fulcrum 8 than to the connecting rod 9 is articulated on the head of the connecting rod 11 which actuates the engine crankshaft 12.

- the stroke of the piston may be increased, which results in the reduction of the diameter for the same displacement, hence a reduction in weight and a reduction in wear, as a result of the reduction in stresses due to the smaller piston surface.
- the present invention can be applied to any type of engine, whatever its energy source, and can be introduced into the construction of the engine associated with it when it exists, with a view to increasing the power available to achieve saving energy and reducing mechanical wear.
