DESIGN FOR CASINGOF SODA-WATER APPARATUS.
Specification forming part of Design No. 5,985, dated July 1d, 1872.

In the photograph, A represents the lower portion of the casing of a soda-water apparatus, which is of rectangular form. B is the upper portion of the casing, the front of which slopes or inclines inward and upward from a. to b, while the sides incline inward and upward from c to d. Above the portion B is a shelf or platform, C, which is surmounted by an ornamental railing, D, above which rises the upper portion of the back E, which rises vertically from the bottom of the casing and is intended to be placed against the wall of the apartment, the operator standing in front of the apparatus and between it and the counter. At the center of the front of the portion A is a projecting portion, G, which is surmounted by a semicircular or arched portion, H, containing a tablet or medallion with the representation of aniceberg thereon, the design thus produced being unique and ornamental.
