DESIGN FOR THE CASING OF A SODA-WATER APPARATUS.
Specification forming part of Design No. 8,0l8, dated January 19,1575; application tiled January 6, 1975. [Term of Patent 14 years] To all whom it may concern Be it known that we, FRANK II. SHEPHERD and EMIL ScHwAB, of Lowell, in the count) of Middicsex and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Dcsign for the Casing ot' a Soda-\VaterApparatus, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being bad to the accompanying photograph making part of this specification.
This invention consists in an ornamental design for the casing of a soda-water apparatus to be placed against a wall, the operator standing in front of the apparatus.
in the photograph, A represents the lower or main portion of the casing of a soda-water apparatus, which is of rectangular form. The upper portion of the apparatus is provided with a flat top, b, and an inclined portion, 0, on each side, extending from the main portion A to the top B, and beyond the inclined portions 0 project the arched portions (1 of the front and rear walls of the casing. To the front wall of the casing, is secured an ornamental tablet, B, consisting of two end portions, 0 e, and an intermediate central portion, f. 0 is a. door, which forms the front of the upper part of the apparatus, and is balanced on hinges secured to it on the inner side, near its center of gravity. This door 0 is made ornamental, as shown, and is provided in front with a bracket, h, for supporting a. statue or other ornament; but, it desired, the bracket may be dispensed with.
