DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR SPOONS, FORKS, OR SIMILAR ARTICLES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,982, dated July 29, 1902.
Application filed November 22, 1901. Serial No. 88,347. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it 727/002] concern:
Be it known that I, THEODORE BENDER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Providence, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Handle for Spoons, Forks, or Similar Articles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a front view, and Fig. 2 is a rear I View, of the handle, showing my design.
vex: raised fillet extends along the center of the stem, terminating in a scrolled foliation extending over part of the convex panel of the blade of the handle. A scrolled cactusleaf forms the crest at the upper end of the front of the handle. On the rear of the handle the central convex panel extends continuously over the blade and the stem. The upper end of the rear is ornamented by a scrolled honeysuckle ornament.
Having thus described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The ornamental design for the handle of a spoon, fork, or similararticle, as herein shown and described.
