SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,340, dated. February 9, 1892.
Application filed $eptember 80. 1391. Serial No. 407,307. Term of patent '7 years.

Be it known that l, UIIARLES C. \VIENTGE, of Providence. in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have originated and produced a Design for Flat \Vare such as Spoons, Forks,and Like Utensils, of which the following is a specification.
I will describe a spoon embodying the design, and then point out the novel features in a claim.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a front View of such a spoon. Fig. 2 is aback View thereof.
Similar letiersof reference designate corresponding parts in both figures.
The bowl A of the spoon is represented as plain. Along the shank B for a considerable distance are ribs or stria I). The handle 0 is embellished with arepreseniation of a wreath or flowers. As here shown, two lines of flowers c c are arranged at an angle and converge toward the extremity of the handle. Where they meet a ribbon e" is delineated. The back of the handle is embellished witha curved row of flowers c".
