Be it known that I, FREDERICK FISCHER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Bualo, in the countyof Erie and State of 5 NewYork, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Cigar-Rest and Ash- Receiver, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
1o This invention relates to a combined cigarrest and ash-receiver, and is characterized by the contour and relative arrangement of the surfaces comprising it and as shown in the accompanying drawings, forming a part of 15 this specification.
Figure 1 illustrates a top plan View of the design. Fig. 2 is a transverse sectional View on the line a x of Fig. l, and Fig. 3 is a central longitudinal section of the design.
zo The invention consists, essentially, of a shallow circular receptacle 1, the side wall thereof being inclined downwardly. Projecting outwardly from the receptacle and almost in a horizontal plane therefrom is a handle 2 5 2, having its upper face concaved and terminating at its free end in adownWardly-directed portion 5, which is curved back upon itself, as at 6, and which is substantially in a Vertical plane and at right angles to the handle 2. 3o
Disposed upon each side of the handle 2 are ears 3 and 4, which are formed with the handle and so curved as to correspond with the contour of the concaved face thereof.
