UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
JOHN ECKERT, OF MADISON, INDIANA.
DESIGN FOR A STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,553, dated May 21, 1901; Application filed April 13, 1901. Serial No. 56,'75. Term of patent '7 years.
To aZZ whontit may concern:
Be it known that I, J OHN ECKERT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Madison, in the county of Jefferson and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Stoves; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will en able others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The drawing is a perspective view of a stove, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in a body each of whose sides is composed of a semicylindrical middle portion A, with its diameter upright and its axis horizontal, joined at its upper and lower edges to upright plane rectangular portions B O, the upper edges of the portions B being connected by a plane rectangular horizontal top D, and the lower edges of the portions 0 being connected by a plane rectangular horizontal bottom E. The
ends of the sides, top, and bottom lie in parallel upright planes and are joined to plane end portions F of a shape suitable to entirely close the ends of the stove. On the top D is a short cylindrical tubular section H. The front end F has a tubularprojection F, inclined slightly upward. A tubular slip cover or door I fits on this projection F, having a closed outer end provided with a handle 2'. Below the projection F is another smaller tubular extension F A tubular slip-cover K, with handle it, fits on over this projection F Bent legs L extend down from the bottom E.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is The design for a stove, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
