DESIGN FOR A HOT-AIR FURNACE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,149, dated February 26, 1901.
Application filed January 28, 1901I Serial No. 45,140. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that we, J oHN HLAUX, HARRY VAN BAYsE, and WILLIAM D. HARRISON, of St. Louis, Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Hot- Ai-r Furnace, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
Figure l is a perspective view from the front, showing our design. Fig. 2 is a perspective view from the rear.
As shown in the drawings, the essential or material feature of our design consists of a vertical cylindrical body l, having its top rounded or curved and devoid on its front face of any Vertical seams,aud projecting from the upper rear side of which are two short cylindrical projections 2. A vertical cylindrical member 3 is carried by each of the projec tions 2, and the upper ends thereof projecta slight distance above said members 2, and their lower ends are connected to a horizontal bow-shaped coupling 4, projecting horizontally from one end of which is a cylindrical projection 5. Intermediate of the cylindrical bodies 3 is a short cylindrical body 6, its lower end resting upon the coupling 4 and its upper end being substantially in alinement with the upper ends of the members 3. The upper ends of the members 3 and 6 are rounded. At the front side of the body l and opposite from the cylindrical members 3 and 6 is a door-frame 7, carried by which is a door 8, and near the bottom of the said body l, below the door 8, is another frame 9, supported by which is a door lO, and projecting from the said frarneis a uumber of angular projections 1l. Connected to the lower end of the body 1 is a base-ring l2, having a series of arms 13, the inner ends of which are adjacent the body l.
We claim- The design for a hot-air furnace, substantially as herein shown and described.
