DESIGN FOR AN OTTOMAN.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom tt may concern:

Be it known that INV. II. REED, of the city, county, and State of New York, have originated a new Design for an Ottoman, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specifica tion.

The nature of my invention consists in the peculiar outer form, or configuration of the ottoman, the sides and ends of the same being corrugated, and with the upper surface, which forms a soft cushion, covered with handsome carpet, the ends furnished with ring-handles, and supported on casters, constituting a unique, ornamental, and beautiful piece of furniture.

In the drawings- A indicates the upper surface of the ottoman; B C, the sides and ends; D E, the eorrugations in said sides and ends; F F, the ring-handles, for lifting the ottoman from the floor; and

G G, the casters, which support the ottoman. \Vhat I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
