UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
LOUIS SANDERS, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A BELT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,047, dated February 5, 1901.
Application filed January 10, 1901. Serial No. 42,810. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom, it Ina/y concern..-
Be it known that I, LOUIS SANDERS, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of New York, borough of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Belt, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, which represents a plan view of a belt embodying the features of my design.
The leading feature of the design consists in the shape of the belt, in which the upper central marginal portion presents a concaved line A, which gradually merges into slightlyconveXed lines B, and these lines extend to the ends of the belt. The lines 0 at the ends of the belt incline from the top downward and outward, and the width of the belt at the ends is greater than at any portion between the ends. The central bottom line D of the belt is decidedly convexed and merges into concaved lines E, forming the bottom side edges of the belt, and these concaved lines meet inclined lines F at the front bottom portion of the belt, and the lines F, meeting the end lines 0, generally produce a decided point.
The minor feature of the design consists in the button ornamentation at the front end portions of the belt.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a belt herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
LOUIS SANDERS.
Witnesses:
