DESIGN FOR AN APPAREL-BELT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,824, dated March 18, 1902.
Application filed February 20, 1902. Serial No. 94,996- Term of patent 3% years.
To (oZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, OTTO A. LEHMAN, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Hoboken, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and useful original Design for an Apparel-Belt, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, in which the figure represents a face view of the apparel-belt embodying my design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in an apparel-belt the lower edge 1 of which presents an irregular outline composed of a series of inner and outer curves and the upper edge 2 of which presents an irregular outline corn prising a lesser number of inner and outer curves, leaving the belt wider at its middle portion than at it's ends, the face of the belt being ornamented by two figures formed by ribs raised from the surface of the belt, each figure comprising upper and lower ribs 3 and 4, following the contour of the belt for a distance along the same and joining each other at their outer ends, and a diagonal rib 5, joining the ribs 3 and 4 at their inner ends.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for an apparel-belt, substantially as herein shown and described.
