SPECIFIGATION forming part of Design No. 34,611, dated June 4, 1901. Application filed April 22, 1901. Serial No. 57,030. Term of patent '7 years- To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that LWILLIAM RETTENMEYER, of Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new Design for a Strap for Ladies Belts; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a face View of a strap for ladies belts, showing my new design.
This invention relates to adesign for straps for ladies belts, and the leading or material feature of the design is a strap consisting in series or rows of rings A so arranged that the adjacent rings of the rows stand side by side, so as to form transverse rows at right angles to the longitudinal rows. Superimposed upon these rin gs are disks ]3, also arranged in rows and side by side, the longitudinal and transverse rows of such disks alternating with the longitudinal and transverse rows of rings, the outer rows of rings forming a scalloped edge at each side of the strap, all as shown in the accompanying illustration.
I-Iaving fully described my invention, what I claim is The design for a strap for ladies belts, as herein shown and described.
