DESIGN FOR AN APPAREL-BELT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,792, dated March 4, 1902.
Application filed February 7, 1902. $erial No. 931083- Term of patent 8% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Orro A. LEHMAN, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Hoboken, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and original Design for an Apparel-Belt, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, in which the figure represents a face view of the apparel-belt embodying my design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in an apparel-belt having a general curve from end to end, the lower edge presenting an irregular outline having two sharp points 1 and 2, having concave edges, and an intermediate blunt point 3, having convex edges joining the concave edges of the sharp points, and the upper edge presenting an irregular outline having a blunt point at opposite the blunt point 3 011 the lower edge, the face of the belt being ornamented by two figures formed by ribs raised from the surface of the belt, each figure comprising ribs 5 and 6, following the top and bottom contour of the belt for a distance along the same, a curved rib 7 connecting the inner ends of the top and bottom ribs 5 and 6 and a diagonal rib 8 connecting the outer ends of the top and bottom ribs 5 and 6.
What I claim is-' The design for an apparel-belt, substantially as herein shown and described.
