SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21.586, dated May 31, 1892.

Application filed April 30, 1892. Serial No. 431,362. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EDWARD T. COREY, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Carbondale, in the county of Lacka- Wanna and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new'and useful Improvements in Designs for Gulf-Buttons, &e.; and I do doclare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention,snch as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference oeinghad to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

The distinguishing characteristics of my design are shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 represents a front view thereof, either used as a cuff-button or scarf-pin; Fig. 2, an end view.

The reference-letter n represents the rim of a hat, the outer edge of which rim is turned high. The crown b is formed like an inverted bell and has the arc-shaped sides 0, which join the rim at their lower ends. A band (isurrounds the lower end of the crown just above the rim a.

This design may be used as a scarf-pin, cult-button, or watclrcharm.

lVhat I claim is- The design for cuff-buttons orlike articles, substantially as herein shown and described.
